Not like the one I purchased a yr ago!

Assembly was not simple- like the yr old previous model. Old one has a sturdy barrel- literally a hard sided shape. The new one has a cloth side and a hard top and bottom. Needed 3 supportive legs screwed in- while stretching the top to make it over the 1” protruding screw. Lining up the legs wasn’t easy. The barrel also shows the screw tops- the old one doesn’t. The scratch legs are the same, as is the very top. The plus side is the entrance size is larger on the new one. The old one had a square shape and my chonks had limitations! Light does show into the new one, as it is just stretched cloth. The old one is dark, as it has a hard outside shell. Should be cheaper, since less materials are used. We shall see….

No assembly required, soft covering, sturdy enough but not as sturdy as others. Good deal for the money.

Good for small cat

My cat isn’t that big, I would say he’s a small to medium sized cat, and he doesn’t like sitting inside this thing because it’s too small in there. He likes sitting on top though. So I would say this is best for smaller cats.

Need a new cat spot

My girls love new things, especially if it’s got them. They liked it well enough, but when I turned it on it’s side they went for it. I think it’s more roomy this way and the can play with each other also

Not the same

The media could not be loaded. I have ordered this tower 5 times in the past. All i do is go to my previous orders and hit order again. This last 6th time I've gotten it IT IS NOT THE SAME PRODUCT!!!! It used to have solid center piece and a lip at the top of the center piece. Instead of hard walls they changed it so they are thin cloth walls held up by incredibly difficult to install towers on the inside of the center piece. The old one was also not wobbly at all and had a wider base. This product is crap! The picture is correct the product itself has been changed completely and not in a good way. I would have returned it if I hadn't HAD to tear open the box to get all the materials out. They packed it so tight I literally could not slide anything out of it without tearing the box apart

Kittens love it

My kittens love this. There is a place to scratch on the side and they love sitting on the top . This sits in my bedroom and gives them a place to curl up . Recommend especially for kitties that like a nice cubby to nap in .

Seems better for kittens

I bought this for a mature cat. She likes to sit inside the enclosure but the top of the enclosure is the same diameter as the top pedestal without a lot of space between the two. It seems like it would be very awkward to go from that 2nd level to the top part and I do not think my cat wants to jump down from there, and there is no easy way to just climb down. So I think a kitten or younger cat would enjoy this more. The material is thin which makes the wood underneath seem very hard. This is not like the towers that have thicker carpet. So in terms of function and value I am on the fence with it. But since she is using the tube part I will keep it.

Good solid cat condo

Had this for half a year now, cat loves it, can spend the entire day on the top platform, uses every aspect including the scratching posts, easy to put together not too big and a lovely colour. Only downside is it's not that soft so we got our cat a nice cushion to lie on when shes on it.

My cats love this, but...

Very quickly, both of my cats have taken a liking to this. They like to sit on the top and in the top and bottom cubbies. One cat is quite large and I wasn't sure if he would like to top, as the lip is only an inch high, but he evidently feels comfortable on it. Because of the type of carpeting used, they are not scratching it, which is a positive. I've tried to show them the scratch panel on the back, but so far they haven't used it. I would give this a 5 out of 5 because of my cats' approval, but the material used for the condo is quite thin and I'm not sure how long it would hold up. It feels like the thickness of a poster tube. I would have liked something a little heftier. That said, the whole condo is heavy enough that I don't think it will tip over if one of the cats does use the scratching side. Because of the thinness of the construction, I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars overall and for value.

Poor Quality

I bought this December 20th and now it's Jan 20 and the cat condo is falling apart. The fabric on top is coming off, see photos. The glue on scratch pad on the side has let go. It is a great size for my female cats as it is slightly larger than the 8 year old one we bought this to replace. This one won't last 8 weeks. Don't bother. I'm giving it one star because you have to in order to leave a review. FEB 15, 2022 STILL WAITING FOR REFUND. RETURN WAS RECIEVED JAN 26th.

Great for the price.

Our cat used this right away, unfortunately the carpet started tearing away after the first use. But we decided to keep and repair ourselves.
