perfect for my non-sports-related use

I can't speak to how these work as belts for football pants, but I use them for a plant press (for drying leaves & flowers flat for decorative use) and a stacked herb rack (for drying herbs/flowers for culinary use). I use two of these on each to hold the layers firmly together. They work really well--the D-ring is attached securely and the ring itself is durable. The straps cinch tightly and don't slip; I can pick up the fully loaded press or rack by the straps and don't worry about the strap loosening. For my uses, these are perfect. And at less than $10 for four straps, it's cheaper than if I'd made my own.

Long and thin - perfect!

I like that this belt is thin- it's often hard to get thicker belts through the slits in football pants. This one is 60 inches long, which allows us to cut it off at a reasonable length and then use a flame to sear the ends to keep it from unraveling. The buckle is also perfect. This is just what we were looking for - a decent webbed belt for practice pants that can be cut to length. Excellent!

Good quality, easy to size

The colors they show in the pictures are a bit misleading. I needed a royal blue belt, the colors in the picture made both the blues look the same. I ordered both. Good quality, easy to size, cut and burn the ends to prevent frays.
