Works great

They arrived a little bigger than I thought they would, but it into being a great size, forgetting things out of the oven and as well as using it as a tivit.

Almost perfect.

These are great pot holders. My only complaint is that they are a little too small. Otherwise, great quality.

Heat resistant

The silicon grippers on them keep them from slipping. They do not transfer heat at all. Great quality.

Difficult to use

They don’t bend well and are too big to use as potholders. I use them to put hot pans on the counter. Tried to replace old caphalon ones that are perfect size and feel.

Does what is advertised

It's a decent potholder. It has good grip on pot handled. Really I don't have to much to stay. It functions as it should. Have had no issues with the product. It looks fairly nice.

Color actually darker.

The color is actually a much darker grey. For that reason, I wanted to return this but didn't in time. I have the brown ones and find them very heat resistant.

Hot pads that actually take the heat

Every so often, I am seduced by some brightly colored hot pads at a local kitchen shop, take them home, and quickly discover they are reasonably useless. Grab a hot pot out of the oven, and rush to find a spot to put it down before blisters form on my unprotected hands. Not so with these. They are made of heavy twill, with silicone ribs running across the surface every 3/8's inch or so. They grab items firmly - the silicone has lots of 'sticktion.' They handle the heat. They have a modern, minimal, utilitarian look - no fluffy frou frou stuff. They are quite a bit larger than my hand, so laid over my palm and then folded around a hot pothandle, they completely protect exposed skin. I haven't yet run mine through the wash... often a weak point with potholders, but time will tell. Unless these self destruct in the wash, they look to be the best I have ever owned. There are matching oven mitts, which are also very, very nice. A worthwhile purchase in my book.

Prefer over an oven mitt

Easy to use. Have to be a little more careful taking something out of the oven due to the top of your hand not being covered. But I still prefer these to an oven mitt.
