Excellent Mens Quality Belt

My first Allen Edmonds belt has arrived. I am impressed by the true quality and attention to detail. This is the reason why I purchased this belt! I very rarely purchase items like this online as they can very quickly turn into disappointments. So to the belt in hand, very impressed and exactly what I was expecting. This is a top notch leather product the smell alone is great (if you like that sought of thing :-). The buckle is a fine finish and the stitching looks hard wearing and flawless. A really good belt looks great with jeans casual or chinos in a more formal setting. I have a number of brown belts and this one will be a favorite wear anytime. Some technical information you may find useful... When purchasing I struggled with the size as I am a 34" waist and I ordered the 36" belt. The 36" belt fits perfect on a 34" waist. I can choose between the middle hole or the 2nd to last hole. From where the belt buckle joins the leather belt the sizing starts and ends at the centre of the middle hole. The belts has five holes in total and the first hole is located 5 inches from the tip of the belt. The holes are at 1" increments. Therefore the 36" belt consists of 2" buckle and a 43" of leather attached to the buckle Total size 45" Great belt! Hope I will get years of use!!!

This is my 2nd Allen Edmonds belt. Yes, Allen Edmonds belts are more expensive but my first one lasted 6 years of nearly daily usage. Starting in year 5, it was still serviceable and nothing was wrong with the stitching. Finally, the stitching began to separate as I approached the 6th year. I believe this stitch separation was more due to my changing waist than anything else....or maybe my jeans just became heavier :-) This Yukon belt is built to same specifications and I fully expect the same kind of performance judging by the look and feel of the belt. This doesn't minimize the looks either - the leather just looks great and has just the right patina. This belt is also heavy enough to hold a handgun holster if needed. If you are seeking a dress belt for dress pants, you may want one just a little bit thinner (1") as this one is 1 3/8" (Just right for jeans).

Nice men's belt

Unlike another reviewer, I purchased this product and am completely satisfied with it. I do happen to have an old version of this belt in a different size that I bought in an Allen Edmonds store, and the one I received from Amazon was every bit as high quality. The leather is supple although a bit thick - it takes a bit of break-in - the stitching is perfect and the buckle is well finished. It is true to size and generally looks good in the black color I bought. Unlike the other reviewer, the tag (and the Amazon product description) on mine says "Made in USA", not China. Overall, happy with the product, especially at the price.

Excellent Leather & Fittings; a Tad Short

Nicely made belt, excellent leather and buckle. However, it's an inch shorter than my old Allen Edmonds belt, meaning I have to use the hole 2nd closest to the tip of the belt rather than the middle hole (maybe the old one has stretched a bit over the last few years). Still, I felt this was better than getting one 2 inches longer, and it looks great with casual pants.

Top Notch

As always, Allen Edmonds puts out a quality product. This belt is very well made and has served me well so far. Unlike most belts these days it's real leather and won't fall apart in a year.

High quality belt that is made in the USA

I have AE shoes that are 15 years old and look nearly new and I find this specific belt to be of the same quality as their shoes. The leather is clearly of high quality, it is well stitched, well finished, and has a casual but attractive die. I also like the somewhat wider size (38mm) which goes well with jeans and the like. And, Yes, this belt is made in the USA which is an unusual bonus these days.

The quality is good and I like it.

It is my first belt from AE,the quality is very good. I like the belt's style and color. but when I opened the goods I found a scratch on the belt. It is a little bad looking. After all , it is worth.

High quality belt

Leather has a nice low key shine. The stitching stands out and contrast perfectly with the colouring of the belt. I would recommend purchasing this belt.
