Beautiful, but Slimes up fast

I would give it 5 stars except that I have had it less than a month and hace turned it iff too cool off and dry out a bit several times. Which I have not had to do with my other 3 indoor fountains. It has already started to get slime on the top and the way this one is designed you can't get at it with a old toothbrush from the top just the small opening where the water comes out. I usually have 2 on and 2 off as home bound and they help with insomnia. I will have to shut this one off before the month is out unless my cleaner steps up to the plate and fast. It has a beautiful sound that can be made slowly to go faster rather than just fast or slow. I get all the in-between. If it runs on high for a couple of days it starts to make noise and the pump gets warm. I slowed it down a fuzz and it's been great since except for the slime building up which I plan on cleaning out with a child's electric toothbrush which seems to be the only thing little enough to get in there. Looks like it will be sooner than later. My others are not ready to go yet. I make repairs but make sure they are good and dry beforehand. Paint seems to be the biggest thing that always comes off. Hobby Lobby here I come then more drying. Over all I very much enjoy the sounds it makes, just wasn't planning on such early cleaning.

Fantastic little fountain!

The media could not be loaded. Excellent little water fountain! I got it as part of my feng shui arrangement for my apartment. Yes, it is quite small, but non-the-less very pretty and effective. The sound is nice although I would like to modify it a bit with rocks, as it reminds me a bit of a leak in the bathroom rather than waterfalls... but I'm almost sure you can modify the sound by putting rocks and such on the fountain levels. It looks very much like rocks, no wood or anything, just nicely stacked grey rocks. The pump was silent at first but after a few days it started to be a bit noisy but it doesn't bother me much, the water sound is louder so it's fine. I am a bit worried about the charger of the pump since it warms up quite a lot.... hopefully it will be ok, will update if breaks or anything. Still didn't clean it but i imagine it wouldn't be too problematic, you should use special fountain cleaner for it and make sure to use filtered water, that helps with the accumulation of yucky stuff I believe. *****UPDATE***** After about a year since purchase. Pump stopped working. Disappointing. *****NEWER UPDATE***** I purchased a cheap pump off amazon and simply replaced it and now it works again perfectly an dlooks great! Makes such a lovely sound too... I think the new pump is stronger(it’s bigger too) and the water noise went from sounding kind of like a toilet leak - to a wonderful rivery sound! So if u wunna improve the sound - definitely get a stronger pump

Great Product, But Some Things to Consider Before You Buy...

I used this in a bathroom I wanted to give a more "spa" feel and it works great. I was surprised by the instructions that implied this fountain was built for outdoor use, but as you can imagine it's more than powerful enough to stand up to indoor use. Either way, it makes a nice running water sound, splashes minimally, and gives a nice calming feel to the room. It does require distilled water, so keep that in mind before you buy! It'll extend the life of the product by preventing the pump from being broken by deposits from tap water. Also, it isn't real stone--it's a cast, and it feels like it could use some green punches (in my personal opinion) that you'll have to make or achieve yourself. My last con is the packaging. It came protected by "solid" foam that collapsed at by attempts to pull it out of the box. It was unbelievably frustrating and messy (think foam pebbles all over the floor and big chunks to toss in the trash). I was worried about attempting to return it should it not have worked, but it worked great and I didn't even have to consider a return or replacement.

Jungle feature.

The water moves a bit faster than I hoped in terms of sound, and the light is extremely bright. Other than that I like the look of it and it is soothing to listen to at night. A great little fountain. I have it in amongst my tropical plants so the shadow it casts on the ceiling is very jungle-like. Add in my hammock and it's great. I also bought it for my Reiki room, so my clients would be soothed by the natural flow of water while they have a treatment. It works well for this purpose.

Great little fountain!

The fountain is the same as on the picture. It's a bit smaller than I imagined but I still love it. The rocks look believable and the water imitates a flow of a stream very well. The trickle is pretty quiet, you have to get up close to hear it but once there it's magical. The led light is a bit too bright so I covered it up with a translucent shell, which makes it look even better. The pump is very quiet and it came all set up and ready to be plugged in. The manufacturer recommends distilled water so the tube doesn't get clogged up with build up. So far I haven't noticed any leaks. I placed it among my plants and they seem to love the humidity and the sounds of the water, I also arranged my air plants on the edges of the rocks and they look great.

Loved it but disappointed in the performance

I purchased this fountain a year or so ago but I didn't start to use it right away. When I finally start to use it, I absolutely loved it. The water flows nicely and you can hear it. The fountain is outside on my patio. After leaving the fountain on for a few days with water, the motor went out. I was very disappointed but I still kept the fountain because it looks good. It is a bit smaller than I imagined, though.

Alpine corporation 28 cm tall water feature

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed after receiving this water feature power plug is broken I had fix it with glue delivery was delayed I had to wait nearly 2 weeks. Performance is average but main problem is there no on off button, you have to plug it out from the mains.

Disappointing

Not 'lights' plural, just one in the middle tier. Difficult to set up. the nozzle on the volume control was damaged. This then wouldn't hold the water tube at all well. Not bad enough to return, but can't recommend.
