Good switch, my favorite format for a bathroom fan switch. Neutral line in switchbox required.
If a wall switch needs a manual to use it, it's been poorly designed, Fortunately this one is pretty intuitive, and I prefer it to the Lutron and Leviton offerings. It's a rebrand of the Enerlites / GE brand timer switch. If you want a different set of times, look at the Enerlites, there are several different ranges available. Note that Hot, Load, + Neutral are required, present in most modern circuit boxes, but many older switch boxes have just Hot + Load (or occasionally just Load + Neutral). GE / Enerlites have a no neutral required version. I wouldn't recommend them unless you actually need that. They're a bit finicky and can nuisance trip GFCIs as they work by bleeding a small amount of power to charge a capacitor. They're also only rated to 1/2 the load of the Neutral required versions. If you have a Load + Neutral box (frowned upon but they do exist in old work), no electronic switch will work, you need an old school rotary knob mechanical timer switch. The intuitive: Press a small button to turn it on for the specified time, press the big button to turn it off, or on as last used. The you'll-figure-it-out-if-you-need-to: To turn it on indefinitely (no timed shutoff) long press (>8sec) the big button It briefly flashes an indicator lamp when turned on, to show what the timer is set to. There is an option to keep the indicator on as long as the switch is on, which might be nice except 1) there's nothing intuitive about how to turn on this feature, and 2) it's disabled after every power outage. To enable it, press 5min + 15min together for 5sec. Probably less aggravating to just forget it's an option than to try and remember how to enable it after a few months/years have gone by. The blue lamps are bright enough to be annoying if kept on anyway. This is rated to handle anything you're running on a 15amp circuit, so good for smaller whole house fans, etc. And yeah, if the listing still has a product photo showing "15 hours" as the upper right button, the photo is wrong. The upper right button is "15 Min" as expected. And the headline says 15 min to 4 hours, when it's actually 5 min to 2hours, as in the photo, Hopefully Amazon will fix these typos at some point.

Great for en-suite bathrooms!
This review is for the 1-pack with the Countdown Timer. This has been great for our master bath since my husband gets up a lot earlier than me, now he doesn’t have to remember to go back in and turn the fan off or else it’ll run for much longer than it needs to. INSTALLATION: My husband doesn’t have much experience with these kinds of installs yet, but he said it was a good learning experience and that people who are more familiar with changing out switches like this one would probably find it very straightforward and easy! He said it took him about an hour including reading all the instructions, learning the basics of the process, actually installing the switch, and getting everything back into the wall plate. IN USE: It’s very easy to use and I like that you have the option for whether the LED flashes only temporarily to indicate your option, or stays on the whole time. We have ours set to only flash when a timer is picked. We’ve timed a couple of the shorter cycles and they seem to be switching off right on time! I’m not consciously timing the longer cycles but we do use them and they turn off eventually so I’d assume the timer is right for those too :)

A Money Saver!
Didn’t even know that an item like this existed until it was offered on Vine. We’re all guilty of forgetting to turn off the bathroom fan. My ears don’t work that great anymore, and I just recently had a whisper quiet fan installed. I’ve come home from work only to realize that the fan was still on. Love this! 15 minutes is perfect for a shower.. Easy install as long as you have a neutral wire in your electrical box. If you read the lengthy instructions, you can select to have the timer lights set to on or off based on your preference (I’ve opted for on which isn’t the default).. Overall a great item as I won’t be wasting electricity or burning out my fan motor because I forget to turn the fan off.

Note Neutral wire needed
This switch works great in the bathroom for the fan. I was able to swap out the existing switch for this timer switch with no issue as that electrical box had a neutral wire available to that box. The timer works as expected. There is no 15-hour timer as shown in the product photos. Good product I would order it again for other fans to help allow for them to run for a bit after you leave the room but not run all day.

Countdown timer switch to save money on electricity costs and to save the earth
People are wasteful and they do things that are against their own best interests. Leave a normal light switch in a public restroom and people will prove the above statement over and over all day long. Put one of these switches on the wall to combat that wastefulness. People can turn the light on, and it will turn itself off after 5, 15, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. There is a manual override, so it won't completely stop the wastefulness, but it might help. It is better than doing nothing. 5 stars.
