Inconsistent but decent
I ordered four numbers two ones, a six and a 9. The ones have a glossy finish while the 6 and 9 are satin. The 6 and the 9 are the number just inverted yet one cost more than the other. The size is good and installation is easy. For the width of the stroke on these the standoff distance from the mounting surface is not enough to give it a significant floating effect. It's fine if you want to mount the numbers flat against a wall.

Good House Numbers. Can be mounted using #10-24 machine screws.
I mounted the numbers onto a 1x6 PVC board. I didn't use the included mounts but found that a #10-24 machine screw will match the hole pattern of the numbers. I used stainless steel but brass would also work. A 1-inch screw would be ideal for 1 inch (3/4") board but the store was out of stock so I ended up using 3/4" and making a deeper counter sink hole in the back of the board. The hole patterns are printed on the cardboard under the numbers. They worked perfectly for making the alignment holes in the PVC. Overall I am very happy with the end results.

Good quality, durable but you'll probably need longer mounting screws if mounting it floating style
Love these numbers for the front of our house. Actually, a half star deduction because if wanting to mount in floating style, you'll probably need to purchase longer screws. The finish and weight of these seem to project they will wear well through weather. The size and clarity of these are perfect for visibility and style. Only reason for the half star deduction, is that if you are wanting to install these in a floating fashion - - - that is so they stand out away from the siding/wall, you will most likely need to purchase longer mounting screws/nails. The mounting screws that come with these are just under 1 1/2" long. If mounting flush with the house, no problem - - - that's plenty enough length to securely mount them - - - just pound them into the siding until they are flush with the siding. If you intend on mounting these so they float away from the house, we didn't feel that just 3/4" inch embedded into the siding was secure enough. Not that we expected anyone to come along and pull them out, but the fact that I could easily jiggle and pull them out with just my fingers, made us look for longer mounting screws. Very easy and inexpensive to find longer screws at Lowe's. We bought machine screws that fit in the back of the numbers, then cut off the heads. Holes were pre-drilled into the siding, and we just glued the screws into the siding. Only because I'm a little ocd, I also purchased a hollow stainless tube/straw, cut it to size, and slid it over the exposed screws. These acted as spacers so the numbers were all the same distance from the house, and also covered the threads of the screws. Now they float away from the house and feel very securely fastened as well.

These attractive sans serif numbers will get the job done
These attractive, easy to read, 4" high, thick address numbers are made from quality brass that have been black powder-coated for long life and durability, but most importantly readability from a distance. To install them just follow the instructions that come on the package with each number. You'll need is a pencil, straight edge (for layout and positioning of the pilot holes), and then a power drill and drill bit for drilling the 1 1/8" pilot holes for the number's mounting studs (two per number). Careful planning of the numbers' final position layout will save you any missteps along the way. To finish up the install, use a rubber-head mallet/hammer to firmly tap them into the surface (in my case wide cedar wood trim), securing the numbers. Stone or masonry surfaces will require using the included white vinyl mounting sleeves that will first have to be countersunk before the metal studs are firmly tapped in place. I installed 5 address numbers in the more difficult vertical layout and final reading orientation. It took about an hour to do so at a leisurely pace from beginning to end. I carefully determining the stud mounting hole positions in advance before the pilot holes were drilled. NOTE: Making a paper drilling template in advance, showing all those positions, will speed the numbers installation.

Great product for me (with a few minor modifications)
I liked the everything about it, except for the cheapo plastic numbers (not a good look for a modern style Eichler house), and the bulbs were a dim incandescent (halogen, maybe?) type that don't last long. So I found some modern looking 4" high metal "floating" type numbers on Amazon that mount from the threaded holes on the backside and used those instead. I drilled small clearance holes for #10-24 screws through the plexiglass face and screwed the numbers in from the back. Had to cut the screws to the proper length, though as the exact length I needed wasn't available off the shelf, so that was bit of a pain, as was getting the holes in the exact position needed. On the bright side, I don't have to worry about the glue failing after a few years. As for the bulbs, I replaced them with T10 base LEDs as suggested by others in the reviews. All works good so far!

Slightly different sizes
The numbers are great. I’m opting to write the review because the numbers aren’t the same size. The two I bought are close but the six is slightly skinnier than the eight causing it to look a little smaller. It’s not extremely noticeable unless you have a touch of OCD.

Clean crisp design.
Good price, actual number is good quality. I gave this product a 4 star rating because the anchors are quite cheap and came apart upon installation.

These numbers look great. Very easy to mount once you've got the layout and spacing measured.
