Durable and just the right size for cookies
I’m an amateur cookie baker trying to make professional-looking cookies decorated with royal icing using these Ateco bags. These disposable piping bags are the only brand I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve been so pleased that I’ve purchased them three times in this size. I’ve used these bags with and without piping tips and my experience with them has been great both ways. These 12” bags are just the right size, even for my granddaughter’s tiny hands when she started using them at the age of seven or eight. They’re thick but not so thick that they’re difficult to work with. I’ve put a lot of pressure on these bags squeezing out icing and have twisted the tips to kingdom come trying to screw on difficult couplers, but the bags have never ripped at the piping end or split at the seams. Oddly, the last time I used them, I had one bag with an arbitrary hole on the side, but that’s the only defect or mishap with these Ateco bags out of going through nearly 150 of them. That says a lot about quality and durability. I can’t compare these Ateco bags to other brands since they’re the only ones I’ve used, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, so I will continue to buy them and can highly recommend them to other bakers.

Helpful Convenience Item
I was recently given an upscale baking book and noticed the large volume of recipes involving pastry bags and tips. I hate washing out pastry bags. It is a time consuming chore for me. So I was shocked when the author of the book stated that he used disposable bags. I immediately ordered these bags. The 18 inch size is generous enough to complete most tasks although I may be stockpiling a few 22 inch bags soon as I progress in the quantity of goods that I make at one time. They are better made than I anticipated--no blown seams with dough leaks so far! It is just convenient to use the bags and then toss them without agonizing about getting them pristine again. The info on this item states that they can be used with hot or cold food and that they are slip proof. I would buy these again.

the "soft" bags are much better than the "clear" bags
I bought 200 soft bags on amazon and i was apprehensive due to the reviews. I like them! I ran out and needed more in a hurry so I bought some from our local cake decorating store and they were the clear ones. Absolutely terrible! they do not allow much movement and they are too stiff! So, if you need to buy bags and you want bulk, go with the soft ones. the unfortunate thing about these reviews is that they are for both the soft and the clear, so the softs are getting a bad name. try them! similar to wilton bags but slightly thicker

Not my favorite
The bags are good quality, but the seem is odd. Therefore, it is hard to use these for piping and decorating. I only use them for flooding icing.

Thick and sturdy
Very sturdy and can handle thick cupcake batter and frosting. I would have liked these even more and given 5 stars if they were added to the bag maybe one at a time so I wouldn't have to unfold the whole stack to get one out. I have even washed a few out and reused them before, they are that sturdy and thick. Great product at an acceptable price. I do like the 18 inch size.

These work rather well and I like them, next time I will get the larger size . It was hard to grip them , like I said I'll get the larger size . The plastic is heavy-duty and the tips fit in there just fine.

Great deal for 50 bags, not quite as thick compared to the wilton's. But are much cheaper vs $31.00 for 100 wilton's.
