HERE'S AND IDEA FOR AMAZON TO CONSIDER...
It doesn't make sense that an item as in demand in the US as toilet paper, a simple medium with a cardboard frame, should cost as much as they do. Opportunity is knocking at Amazon's door again! Why not create an Amazon house brand HVAC filter, after the manner of the Amazon 9V batteries? I'll even provide a silly jingle to promote the idea! AT AMAZON WE'VE FOUND A WAY, TO CLEAN THE AIR THAT HUMANS BREATHE, TO FRESHEN THE ENVIRONMENT, WE'RE DESTINED TO ONE DAY BEQUEATH. OUR HOME HEALTH FILTERS SOLD ON LINE, REMOVE POLLUTANTS ALL AROUND. THEY CLEAN AS WELL THEY COST FAR LESS. THEY'RE MADE FOR EVERY HOME IN TOWN! (at least the concept is sound! Please consider)

Nicely built filters at a great price
Great product and great price. Well built and do not fail even when "full". There is a lot of debate about using higher Merv rated filters and their negative impact on the furnace components and overall household air flow. We find Merv 8 ideal for our 20 year old furnace and do not notice any dust build up around the house (beyond the usual family and pet kind of stuff). These are an ideal upgrade from those standard disposable panel filters as they are over 30 times more efficient at capturing micro particles than ordinary fiberglass filters and supposedly can capture airborne particles and allergens from 3 to 10 microns such as pollen, fine dust, and pet dander. We think these work great and are at the balance point between effectively filtering the air yet not straining the furnace blower (and hindering household air flow).

Undersized & Noisy, Light Sleepers Beware!
Actual dimensions are 19.5"X19.5" so they make a Loud noise when the AC turns on and they get sucked/pulled against the return housing. When the AC turns off the noise made when the filters descend isn't very loud. YES, I have adjusted the filter retention tabs on the return housing to tighten up the fit. Even with all 8 tabs poking out, the filters still get sucked against the return housing when the AC turns on.

Quality Filter, Love Having Extra Quanity
Merv 8 for a little over $3 a piece?? That's crazy good. These are comparable in quality to ones in home depot that go for many times the cost of these. and I love having a box of 12 sitting around so I know I won't run out for a while, which is good because I have three ACs I need to maintain.

For the price you cant go wrong! Filters where better quality than the cheapo ones I use to get at Home Depot. Will buy again when needed.

Hard to find 20" x 30" furnace filter
It's a furnace filter ! it looks like a furnace filter. It fits the furnace. Previously I could not buy 20 x 30 so used 20 x 25 and had to Rube Goldberg a filler to make it fit the furnace. Was glad to find 20 x 30. The 12 pack was expensive but will last for 6 years at least. Satisfied.
