The search for a small drainer has ended!
We have a double sink in our house where one in small and the other a normal size. In addition, it is a smaller kitchen with limited counter space so I have been looking for a dish drainer that I could leave in the smaller sink to free up much needed counter and cabinet space. I found one right away in a big box store and was quickly disappointed as it rusted within the first couple of weeks. (I believe it's called a metropolis drainer in case you are comparing several options). I thought if I just went to a specialty kitchen store I would find a small enough drainer but I was very wrong! I could easily find an RV drainer which would fit perfectly but they were white and plastic which I was sure would look dingy in no time! Plus they looked pretty cheap. Deciding not to waste my time and gas driving around, I of course turned to Amazon. I found the same RV drainers I had seen in the store but I also found this one by Better Houseware (3423). My sink is 15.5"x9.5" but because it is rounded, at it's smallest it is more like 13"x8" which presents the problem. As soon as I opened the box I knew I had found the perfect fit! I've never been so excited about a dish drainer, I put it in right away and there is still a little room in the length where I can prop my bottle brush to dry. The only reason I gave it four and not five stars is because I also hand wash and dry the thermos foogo sippy cups and they are a bit wobbly in this drainer because there are only slots for dishes and no flat part for other items. This is the one thing about my previous rusty drainer that I liked. It had a small flat part where you could easily stand three bottles to dry. I do love the utensil cup for the straws though! The lack of a flat spot would not deter me from purchasing the item again, but the presence of one would make the item perfect!

What I've been looking for
I have a double-basin sink that has been very difficult to find a drainer for because the corners are so rounded. The standard large drainers I've seen in stores ALMOST fit but because the corners on the drainer are more square than rounded, they never fit completely into my sink. I read reviews of many drainers before I decided to purchase this one (who would have thought there could be so many different drainers and so many reviews of them!). What made me decide to try this one is the size and the style. Granted, the drainer is smaller than my sink but that's what I wanted. I wanted a drainer that would completely fit into my sink, not have to be put in at an angle because it won't sit flush on the bottom of the sink. This drainer fits comfortably in my sink and keeps my dishes off the bottom of the sink. I like the sleek, contemporary look of the drainer and so far have not noticed any rust or discoloration. My only complaint (and it's very minor) is that the silverware basket, if put on the outside of the drainer rather than the inside, doesn't stay in place very well. Several of the reviews I read mentioned that the basket could be put on the inside or the outside which is true, but I suspect it would stay in place better if it was inside the drainer. Really though, that is such a minor thing that I don't really give it any thought. If you have a small sink or one that is oddly shaped, I think you'll like this drainer. It can also be used on the counter but I removed the tray at the bottom since I put mine directly in the sink. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

I don't like it, but it fits
This thing is tiny, and yet for some reason, it's the only dish drainer I could find that fits in my small kitchen sink. It's kind of hard to stack certain types of dishes on it, and I usually have to sort of wedge things like glasses or pots between the side of the dish rack and the wall of the sink. I miss my old dish rack, but that one was too large for the sink in my new place, so...this one'll have to do. C'est la vie, ne c'est pas?

Fits in my kitchen sink.
I live in an RV, so finding something that fit in my small sink was a chore. This does, and it does have something, maybe silicone, on the bottom that keeps it from scratching the stainless steel. And it's not ugly; that's nice. Four stars because it could have been designed a little better, but it works.

Don't waste you time. The drain tray is smaller than the dish rack so when I put the rack on top, it goes over the tray which is ridiculous because the water will collect on plates and drop onto the counter. And the rack doesn't even sit properly on the tray, it balances on four knobs so if you accidently knocked it by putting in a dish, it would fall over. I sent it back. If they only designed it with an extra inch on the tray it would work perfectly.

Perfect for small sink!
It’s perfect for our small motorhome sink! Exactly what I was looking for. Not using the plastic drainer in the sink but use if choose to drain dishes on counter. Couldn’t be happier!!!

Small Serviceable Dish Drainer
I bought this to put in one part of my double kitchen sink to use for things that need to be or I want to hand-wash......I only need to run the dishwasher 2X week but some items like pet food dishes need to be washed several times a day. The drain rack is really designed for plates, not bowls or cups. However, it fits the sink and it works OK for the few items I have and they self-dry quite well. It is sturdy and as a plus has a cutlery cup that can be hung inside or outside the rack.
