Weak grip with buckel
Nice looking but buckle does not hold cinch tight and pants fall down.

Holds lots of money
We are getting ready for vacation and it holds at least $2,000 in $100.00 bills. It seams pretty sturdy so far, my hubby seems to like the belt. Again we haven't used it on our trip yet. We will edit after our vacation.

Great Belt.
I used this belt to hold emergency money during our 7 week trip to Central America. It worked like a charm. I only held about $300 dollars in it, but I bet you could stuff a couple of thousand dollars in it if you were so inclined. The belt looks great and feels very sturdy. I read reviews about all the money belts, and this one by far had the best. The buckle is solid and the belt fits well even when stuffed with money. The only gripe I had was that there was one edge near the buckle that would poke me in the stomach when I bent down. Not a big deal but it would be nice to have that area filed down or something.

Doesn't look like a traveler's money belt at all
I own two other bison belts. One from a thrift store circa 2008, and one from an REI clearance rack. So, I'm predisposed to like the products. But I was skeptical about a belt that held a good amount of money stealthily. This does...if the bills are rolled a bit. Bills must be folded in thirds. I can get a stack of 10 folded and in the belt easily. With the length of the zipper, I get four of these stacks in with some room left over. Maybe my passport photocopy could fit there? Once on, if the bills were not rolled a bit prior to placement, the belt does look stiff, like a brand new thick leather belt. I wore mine at work for a couple days and now the curves look right. Belt is wide, but not too wide (fits though belt loops on my women's Levi's) and the length is adjustable with a hot knife (ask at a sporting goods store if they will slice it for you) or with the scissors and flame technique. Nice design that works with my wardrobe of brown, denim, greens. Maybe not the purples, unless you have more flair than I. Which is likely. Buckle is a plastic/nylon technical composition in an antiqued silver/pewter/not shiny finish. Intended to be "TSA friendly," meaning you could leave it on at airports not using visual scanners. I've not tested this. If I do, I'll comment. So even removing one star for my fan-girl love of Bison, this is still a very solid four stars, and a bargain price wise. One note about the shipping. It came well swaddled in a tyvek bubble mailer. And nothing else. Points for no waste.

The ends and edges appear to be pretty much fray-proof
This is very well made. The ends and edges appear to be pretty much fray-proof. The zipper pouch is a bit "bulgy", allowing extra room to put bills, etc. in. Oddly, given the generous width of the belt, you do have to have to fold the US bills in thirds. It is not possible to tell that the user is wearing a money belt even when stuffed with 8+ bills and passport copies, etc. The one star deduction is for my assessment of the plainness of the belt (and the concern that the aluminum buckle may not make it through security without removal), but you can be the judge of style from the photos provided. One could argue that the plainness is a plus if you don't want to appear affluent. I would recommend the belt to just about anyone who had another strategy for stashing a passport and credit cards. Also, I typically wear a 33 pant, and I got the black 38 inch. I think this looks about right to me when wearing, with about 6 inches of "hang" past the buckle when on. ***Edit after 6 months of use*** Change from 4 to 5 stars. Basically this is a great belt for travel. I have been through numerous airports in North America and Europe, occasionally loaded with cash, and never take it off going through security. It has never been a problem with body scanners or metal detectors.

Bucle seems sturdy and so far the belt looks well made
I just got my belt and it answered my questions right away. How much cash can I fit in the belt? The answer is $2200. The zippered area is very long and if you make a pack of 4 bills and fold them you can fit thousand of dollars (assuming these folded bills are of one hundred). Buckle seems sturdy and so far the belt looks well made. I will see how it holds on my trip to Vietnam. Edited this review as I am leaving for Vietnam tomorrow and have my belt packed with 22 hundred dollar bills. I still have space if I needed to store more. I think maximum amount I could store in my belt is $3,500 dollars in 100 denomination.

Superior quality and workmanship in a money belt
I have owned Bison Design belts since 1995. It's nice to know they've been around since then and their quality has improved. This particular belt is wider, has a long compartment for storing paper bills, and the buckle is metal which makes it more durable. However it remains to be seen if the paint on the buckle will fade over the coming years. The quality is top notch, and even the singeing of the belt end is clean compared to other brands. The black nylon fabric looks durable and shiny, thus making it look new "always". I normally wear a 36" belt for 33/34" waisted pants, and the 38" length of this belt is good enough as it isn't too long or too short. This is a great product that I have ordered another one in a different color.

Not worth 25
The belt is sturdy and the buckle is metal so you cant wear it through metal detectors. The Zipper is a cheap no name and tends to fall off if unzipped fast. For 25 bucks I expected a ykk zipper. There are better options out there that do have a reliable zipper. I had a lot of frayed strings on mine and when I buckled it the belt got discolored where it was touching metal. All in all not worth it in my opinion but the choice is yours.

Great money belt
Great money belt, a good fit and wide enough to take sterling and euros. Very flexible and comfortable and can be used just a a good looking belt even when not traveling. Used on a recent holiday and went through security with no problem. Very pleased with item and would recommend.

Depending the amount you put in it works fine.
If it was 1/8 inch wider it would have full filled my needs better. I fold my cash in half and this is designed for american dollars, not for other currencies. I am a Canadian our money (bills) and other countries have slightly larger or smaller bills. I have a leather money belt but I purchased that many moons ago (like 40 years ago) my waist line has increased by 2 inches and my 34 inch belt does not fit. This belt (Bison) was the best I could find and meets my requirements but not fully. The one thing with this belt (Bison) I can keep it on my person where as my other has a metal buckle and zipper. But I could always put it in my carry-on.
