Great shoe!
Have always been a capezio family but needed new tap shoes asap for my daughter. Her instructor prefers this brand, and these were available sooner. Very happy with the chance we took! Great construction, genuine leather, easy to put on and take off.

Follow the Suggestions and Size up
I had bought some cheaper but not really cheaper tap shoes from my studio when I started dance and I just wasn't loving them. They were too wide for my narrow foot and they didn't make good tap sounds. I found these which retailed for way more but bc I needed a narrow they were actually cheaper. They fit me so so so good and I haven't used them yet but seem way better quality. Definitely go up a full size and they'll fit perfect. Very pleased with these though.

i like them!
first time buying taps. i am a 7.5 and i got the 8 narrow bc i have a slender heel and foot. the fit EXACTLY and i do mean that. i am glad bc i know dance shoes stretch out if you practice as much as i do so they will be loose in a couple of weeks. the skinny strap doesnt seem like the strongest but we'll see how long it last for the price the shoes are GREAT if you wanna already feel the stretch and have space in your shoe go one full size up tho they may become too big in the future.

They run a bit small
I can’t even get my normal size on so I’m keeping the half size up. You more than likely need a half size up and they will be tight but you will break them in.

I was interested in tap dancing again, and ordered the Bloch tap shoes, but they were extremely small. The shoe itself was fine, but I had to return them and I’m reordering a half size larger. If that doesn’t work, then a whole size larger. They were very short!

Order a size up
These are my first Blochs. I normally wear an 8 1/2 medium US size ladies shoe and have a very narrow heel. I ordered a 9 1/2 N shoe and it fits perfectly. Have worn with socks and without and find shoes to be very comfortable either way. My heel doesn’t slip out the back and my toes aren’t pinched. Very nice sound to the taps as well. I was pleasantly surprised! Great shoe for the money. Would order again.

Nice Shoe
So, after reading reviews on this tap shoe, I ordered one size up from what I would normally wear. That was a mistake. The shoe is too big. However, with thicker socks and some heel grips, I make them work. They are certainly comfortable (would probably be even more so if they were the right size) and seem to be well made. I would advise that you order your normal size...if you wear thick socks, maybe a half size up. I think these shoes are true to size. I could have returned them but I was dying to try them out at tap class, and didn't feel right about returning them after I'd used them. They'll do ;)

Beautiful and comfortable!!!!
I went straight to BLOCH website to confirm sizing. I am a 7.5 street shoe, so I got the size 8. I do have narrow feet, so not sure how others may experience these shoes if you have wide feet? But I love these!!!! VERY comfortable, love the style, I had everyone in my tap class admire the style, so cute! Great quality, as BLOCH always is. I definitely recommend! My fellow tap mate spent $175 her tap shoes, which were the lace up. These are such a great deal and a beautiful shoe. I do wear small sockinettes when I wear them myself.
