powerful pump
This pump is great, efficient, reliable, lightweight and easy to set up and use. We use it to pump water out of large potholes in alleys and paved roads. It pumps the water out in minutes, it is really fast. I highly recommend it.

Homebrew backup sump pump
After installing and testing it, I couldnt adequately review it until I had a real world power outage and needed the pumping capacity. I have installed as a backup sump pump with about 10ft rise going through a check valve. I use two group 27s for batteries. It cycled about 30 times over a 4 hour power outage. Very pleased with its capacity and energy use.

shorter life span... about a year and a half on average
i use these pumps alot since 2000 ,so i can talk from experience.. I can say one thing.. they used to last ALOT LONGER... about 6 to 7 years... Now they last only 1 and a half year ..

Outstanding pump
I mounted one of these by the stern of my 15' jonboat and it has been equal to the task on those "rough" days when alot of water comes over the side. It is wired directly to the battery with a trolling motor foot activated on/of switch and I was mighty glad to have it a couple times last year.
