Effective 2in1 bit

I was slightly apprehensive with some of the negative reviews and when I 1st recieved the bits. Had to try these out though because of the great quality Bosch normally delivers, just being able to have 1 bit for 2 primary screw heads and the great price. Used this bit to take out long square screws which held together 25 year old wooden play set. So normally very difficult to remove screws. I had gone through a # of different square bits which quickly stripped screw heads, wore down very quickly and took a lot of pressure to get screws out. This Bosch bit did a great job to get these out without major effort and kept great contact with the screw head. Didn't slip out or show wear on the bit afterwards. Haven’t used it for Phillips but main reason I got it was for square bit. Will update if Phillips has any problems.

Time saver

I use square Philip screw heads for work and this is the best investment I’ve made. The screws fit snugger on this tip and I don’t have to constantly change out screw tips whenever I run into a Philips head screw. A huge time saver and no more frustration when trying to find a square or Philips tip when needed.

If you install outlets, switches, boxes or anything with the combo P2/S2 screws these will be a game changer. No more stripping screws using a phillips and trying to find a square bit.

If you are an electrician, you will love these!

A bit on the pricey side, but at least it is a brand that you know and trust. These are fantastic if you happen to be an electrician as the screws on most wiring devices are a combo square drive (Robertson), phillips, and standard straight blade. These securely fit into the screw head and don't slip. I have been using one for almost 2-months now, and it still hasn't stripped out after having installed thousands of switches and receptacles. I won't be going back to single-headed phillips or square drive bits, as the convenience of 2-in-1 is fantastic. Highly recommend!

A must for electricians

This fits all device screws you'll come across in electrical perfectly. I have never seen or used a bit this amazing. not a single slip, strip, of round out. Fits the screws like a glove. When inserted into a Milwaukee 6 inch impact extension, it magnetizes the bit and retains screws from dropping. Fantastic product. If Bosch went out of business tomorrow, this would be the product I'd miss the most. My foreman even stated "I've been in construction for over ten years and I've never had a bit this good". If you're an electrician, you'd be a fool not to purchase this product.

Hold the screw tight

These tips do hold the screws better then a normal #2 Phillips but so far I’ve noticed they tend to wear out a little quicker but maybe it’s just me because I probably install hundreds of screws everyday either way they are still good tips

Hybrid screw bit

This bit is a hybrid Phillips/Square #2 (P2S2) or Phillips/Robertson #2 (P2/R2). It will work for either Robertson #2 or Phillips #2 in a pinch. If you use an impact you will mostly damage the bit if you drive it too fast. Slow speed or variable speed drill driver works best. It will not work well on the middle screw a Phillips #3. The screw to the right is a Quadrex screw. This screw is being used more frequently. A P2S2 can be used to drive a Quadrex screw in a pinch but you will most like damaged the bit if used frequently. Quadrex screws are best driven with a Quadrex bit. Quadrex bit is also marketed as Cobra.

Is it Roberston or Philips? Doesn't matter!

Ever walk somewhere and realize you have the wrong bit? Not anymore. These things are great for work all around the house, although I imagine they will strip a bit sooner than a Robertson or Philips designed for the purpose... nevertheless throw this in your pouch or on the drill/impact and you'll be happy.

A compromise but good to have a couple on hand

Rather than being a wonderful 2 in 1 bit that can do anything these are a compromise of the two styles of bit. They don't do either Philips or Robertson very well but are a handy bit to carry when your not sure what you'll need. I did use 1 bit to put up 10 sheets of OSB, on garage walls, using Philips sheetrock screws. The bit was wore out at the end but worked fairly well for the job.

Jai perdu ma douille etoile ! En la changeant pour une carré ! Et ensuite jai perdu ma carré parce que e oau enlever pour insérer kon etoile mais perdu comme je suis jai perdu les 2 douilles ! Avec la douille hybride ! Fini les soucils de perdre mes douille !!!! Merci Bosh ! Pour la boite de 25 douille carré de 3 pouces elle tienne mes visses a tout coup!
