Great for the Gym or Locker

Pros: Meets CEN Grade 4 standards. Same quality i have learned to love from ABUS. Cannot be shimmed Cannot be picked by a novice unlike master-lock or most other 40mm locks due to having more pins that make contact with the key. Cons: Lower end of physical security. Solid aluminum means it wont survive repeated hammer strikes however with a 1/4" shackle that's not the biggest security concern when they can cut it with mini bolt cutters or twist it. Can be bypassed. Neutral: Not Key Retaining (Will release key if the lock is unlocked) Misc Brady is ABUS's Health and safety company for the industrial sector. but you are getting an ABUS. This is not a tag out lock. It is not key retaining and comes with 2 keys not 1. which i prefer for home use but is not recommended as a LOTO lock Overall Much better than a laminated steel padlock. light and would be great for lockers or the gym because you can throw it in your pocket and can get it in many colours. Looks great, not bad security. Aluminum is a softer metal but great value for the price.

Definitely a worth while buy.The red anodized finish is a beauty not to mention has a 6 security pin core which is easily replaceable

Pretty good lock for the money.

6 pins lock, 5/6 are security pins. It can be picked in 3-5 minutes but for the money it's a pretty good lock. If I had a tool shed, i'd use this lock for it.
