Great training set!

I think pet owners will know best whether their dog will respond to this kind of product. We did formal puppy training when we first brought home our dog but since that was awhile ago, it's good to brush up on some of those skills. I love that my kids can be involved as well.

Fun to use

My six year old is so excited to teach our dog tricks with this. It's easy to comprehend and fun to use. At this point, I don't know who had more fun using it today. Highly recommend!

Poor Instructions.

Included in the kit are a few plastic toys, cards and very poorly written instructions. Save yourself the money, buy a clicker, good, high value treats and watch You Tubes on how to train your dog.

Some of these works, many don’t

We got our dog a few years ago to help with our anxiety from the Pandemic. We got him at the Rescue and didn’t realize how much trauma he had undergone, and that training him was going to be an uphill battle. He’s learned a lot of the basics and yet, there seems like we missed that window for our doggo to really grasp. Enter Brightkins. This 15 Piece set has been pretty handy in teaching him or reinforcing a lot of his behavior. This is really fun for me as an owner because it uses a lot of activity play to train with positive reinforcements. There is also a report card for you to track his progress so you have a visual guide to see where he is and where he still needs to learn. The Click-Treat has been fun to use, and now I don’t need to call him for snacks. Once he hears that clicker he knows it treats time. Spin has been more a challenge for him but I think he’s getting there. The instruction manual, written by actual dog trainers, has been good to go through and reinforces a lot of the previous trainings that he has been on. You need to be patient with your doggo, and I learned not to give him so much at one time.

Good Beginner's Set.

This is a nice dog training set for either beginners, or even better, for kids. This would be perfect for kids to get them involved in the dog training process. All of the included training toys are average quality. This isn't a top-of-the-line set, but for $13.58 it's a great deal. Overall, a really nice training set to help get your kids involved.

Very cute!

This is a really cute puppy training kit! We’ve actually had a bit of luck using this with our 10 month old Labradoodle! We’ve only been able to do the simple stuff like, Down, Spin, Up…but hey, it’s a start! Super cute and well made products! Your kids will love this!

Excellent for Children

Brightkins Pooch School! Training Set - 15 Piece Set Training The 15-item kit is a bit deceiving - you get a clicker, apple toy, pencil toy, grade book, report card, and 10 training cards - the 10 cards are each counted individually, and was a bit disappointing that they counted this set individually. Still, this set has value if you have young children with their first dog. The rules apply to old or new puppies and they all can be trained. This set is a good first step.
