WONDERFUL collar. Maybe.....

LOVE THE PRINT! SIZE IS OKAY, but that's MY fault not theirs......(Read on please) Buckle itself is VERY heavy depending on your dog's breed and age. Also difficult to clasp on and off at will, depending on breed and age..... I ordered this when my 2nd GSD puppy was 2 months old. I always intended to put a permanent plaque on her collar to indicate her owners and their phone numbers. However- at 2 months old, this collar proved to be a bit cumbersome still and we always removed it once she came inside from going potty. This is the FOURTH collar we have ordered from this company, and although I'm in love with their selection of prints and the buckle-design.....I AM NOT THRILLED with the way they designed the buckle-loop (for cabling-out), and the slider (for size adjustment)...... I have two German Shepherds; they've both used these collars their whole lives.....so I can say with absolute clarity- it's INFURIATING that the "cable-out" loop is so close to the buckle! And that the buckle is so close to the adjustment-sizer! I would have gladly paid for a collar closer to her neck-size, at 3 months, than to have dealt with a collar that is clearly too big for a mere 3 month old! Her older brother has the collar that is a half inch wider than hers, so I figured we'd be good at her age- but I was clearly wrong ???? Bottom line-GREAT-quality COLLAR depending on your needs......
