Lid gets stuck, holder is already ripped after two weeks

The lid is too difficult for my kids to open. It takes a silicone grip for me to open. Not convenient. The holder is already ripped after two weeks of use. Leak proof and pretty color.

Keeps beverages cold

This is the perfect size. A cube or 2 of ice and my water stays cold all day even if I leave it-in the car! (I live in FL) My only complaint is closing the mouthpiece. People with limited hand strength will struggle to push it closed.

I'm a fan of Built . . .

I've been using a few different Built products for years, and I especially like the Built "welded" soft portable cooler. This particular bottle is well made and fits into all of my water-bottle holders and cup holders in my car. The top has an ingenious mechanism that's nearly fool-proof. Just slide the button and the top pops open, while remaining virtually spill-proof. I like the way it works even better than my Yeti Rambler 20 oz. Admittedly, it does require a bit of force to open at first, but I found that it is easier to operate after using it a few times. I haven't tested how well it keeps beverages cold or hot, but I imaging it's at least as good as the other Built products I own (as well as my Yeti tumbler). I don't usually get into "brand loyalty," but I definitely like this brand, and $20 is a pretty decent price for this quality.

Bit confusing but easy to use

First when I got this bottle I was quite confused on how this worked. To open you slide the lever button into close you just push on the little together. The reason why I don’t really like this bottle is because I forget that I never closed it and end up putting it in my purse which results in spillage. And the plastic lid it’s hard to wash so I prefer to only use water for this bottle.

Suffers from too much of a wide opening

I wanted to love this bottle from built. I have a few others from them, including a 12 ounce short drink bottle which I absolutely adore. This one, the design of the cap is not good. When open, it allows too much water to come out with too wide of an opening. I’ve literally drenched myself trying to drink from this. I’m a careful drinker, and I own many different bottles, so I can see a bad design from a mile away. Also, the button to open the top requires too much force, I could not do it with one hand, I had to always hold the bottle with the other.

Love it!

This keeps my tea hot all day and keeps water as cold as if it were straight from the fridge; I'm always so happy with BUILT products and this is no exception. The lid is a little strange to get used to at first! Because of the one-touch lid the "mouthpiece" isn't like one I have used before and for me, it took some warming up to. Overall this is really well made and keeps drinks hot/cold for as long as it claims to.

A Medium-sized Water Bottle that's just Right for My Car, but Not So Good for It's Driver

Here's a medium water bottle that is easy to hold and fits the console holder in my car, just what I wanted. Except. . . the lid, which is suggested can be opened by one hand, is difficult for me to open at all, much less when I am driving. The latch is not only difficult to operate but, when it is opened, the liquid stopper either allows too much liquid to flow or it allows none at all. This could be remedied by include a different lid in the package, but as it is I cannot recommend it.
