These solved my problem

I got new baskets for my swimming pool skimmers, but surprisingly they float instead of sink, which is pretty silly for a product designed to be used underwater. So I got these sinkers and they're a great solution for keeping the baskets submerged, by attaching them to the basket bottom with wire.

What can I say? It's a lead weight. Just costs too much.

Bigger center hole than other brands

Somewhat more elongated shape seems to help them sink faster. The center hole is a bit bigger than other brands, making it harder to peg it with a rubber stopper.

Just what I needed

I needed some egg sinkers in the heavier range for my surf rod. This size is hard to find. While $10 for 4 of them isn't cheap, it is the best I could find. These seem to be as good as any other lead egg sinkers I have used. I will put them on the pole side of my swivel with a bead to protect the knot, then just use a lighter leader with a circle hook on the other end to cast a country mile and catch some big catfish and whatever else I can find out that far!
