Retirement gift

My husband retired after 30+ years at his job. Company doesn't do much for a retirement, so I found this watch. I had his daughter get it engraved, and it turned out super! He's picky, but enjoyed it, and we are starting to get her to accept she's a very important part of our lives.

Tiny date and day

Watch is crazy accurate. Nice! But wow the date could really use a magnification bubble. Even the day can't be read with out my glasses. No real lume for night reading. There may be enough lume on the hour and minute hands, but if so it's so minimal I can't see it. Readying this in the daytime is fine and accurate. Very nice metal band compared to other watches around this price point.

Freaking Great Watch!

The watch is elegant. The watch keeps accurate time. I've checked this against a radio clock as well as world time on a computer. After just one month the watch was slow by a mere second. The precision models' second sweep hand moves like a 'wall" electric clock and unlike a Tick-Tock-Second-By-Second pulse. Lastly, the time and date are EASY TO READ!

Comme souvent: plus belle en vrai qu'en image!

La couleur bleu-nuit du cadran est joliment ''soleillée'' (reflet tournant) ce qui ne se voit pas en image. Ma préférence était pour le nom du jour en toutes lettres, en plus de la date. Reçue sans retard malgré les importants orages en tempêtes dans la région de Montréal. Bon suivi Intelcom. La taille de 39mm fait une différence visible par rapport à des modèles de 40mm, c'est étonnant. Oui, parfois quelques reflets sur le verre, mais sans nuire à l'excellente visibilité des aiguilles brillantes sur fond sombre (avec fins traits lumineux pour lecture nocturne). Le bracelet comporte deux demi-maillons (près de la fermeture) en plus des maillons démontables, ce qui permet un ajustement parfaitement personnalisé. Le quartz est tout à fait précis. Bref, tout est parfait.

Didn't disappoint, highly recommend at the $150-$200 price point

I tend to shop on a budget, don't have a lot of extra cash for high-end stuff. Though the band was pretty big and I had to go to a watch shop/jeweler to get it sized properly for my small wrists. Doesn't look too big on me. The quality appears pretty good, I haven't really found anything that bothers me about it. It feels "solid" (I returned another Bulova dress watch because it felt so flimsy, as if it would break if I breathed on it). This watch looks great, with the blue face against the silver. The one "downside" is the readability of the day dial at the top of the watch face. A little hard to read, but meh, that's a very minor point. One other minor negative is that there's no luminescence for reading it in the dark. Again, meh, you can live with that. A watch you should consider at this price point.

Excelente reloj BULOVA

Es un reloj muy bonito que llama la atención por su contraste de color azul en la esfera y las manecillas e indices plateados, el que tenga calendario de día y fecha lo hace muy interesante, como nota el dia lo muestra en ingles, el unico inconveniente que le veo es que el cristal es mineral, se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos.

A beauty!

Great watch. Mine hits all the indices. Butterfly has small links so a perfect fit is possible. Fits my 7.75 wrist just fine. Was a little worried that the name and logo were too crowded at the top with the day function but it works just fine in person. A nice wee gem of a watch. ????

Beautiful watch. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to wear it. As expected, the band is too big and I need to remove a couple of links. Ironically, the watch arrived just as we went into lockdown and all jewellers are closed.
