Great bright RED lipstick but still fades a bit on dry lips.

I have very dry lips. I typically need to keep Aquaphor or some other type of heavy lip balm in order to keep them from peeling (auto-immune disease). I ordered this product because I had read the pigment didn't bleed or fade nearly as much as other Red lipsticks. I was not disappointed in the pigment. This goes on with very solid pigment in the first pass. The only reason I did not give it a five star is because it, unfortunately, did not last all day. My dry lips still needed quite a bit of moisture applied and that took away from the lipstick being able to stay on. The color is very bright red, which goes well with my fair skin and dark hair. I did not have problems with it getting on my teeth or feathering outside of my lip line. For a normal person, without the dry lip problem, I think this would probably be the best choice for a long wearing red lipstick.

A nice surprise

I tried this color on in Ulta once and I really liked it, except I remembered it being a bit more dark and a brownish brick red. When it arrived I was surprised on how much brighter of a red it was, brighter than I had wanted but I still liked it and decided to keep it. It lasts for a while and even leaves a stain on the lip if it ends up coming off. I really like the packaging.

Great!

It's a really flattering red (that sometimes appears pink under certain lighting!) and is also not drying at all. The pigmentation is amazing and does not feel thick or cakey on the lips at all. It does not cling or emphasize dry skin and I love this so much! Even at its original price it is worth it; however, I got it for $10 and it was such a steal!~ Please consider voting on whether this review was useful, since I want to be able to improve my reviews in the future as well. Rich and Smooth.

I chose this product hoping it wouldn't leave marks when I kiss my husband. He won't kiss me when I wear lipstick! For the most part it does that, but I was disappointed it doesn't last as long. I suppose that is to be expected as it is not a stain. Regardless, I enjoy the smoothness of its consistency and the richness of the color. If you spend the money on Butter products and understand the limitations of specific products, you won't be disappointed. These products are worth the money!

My skin is a bit sensitive, so I tend to be very picky about lipsticks, and I am bit conservative about colors, but I really like this lipstick. The color wasn't I expected, but it turned out to be just right for my skin tone. Not drying. Not sure yet how long it can last though..or if will last ice cream or smooch.. but I like it.

Long lasting lipstick!

I have a hard time with lipstick not lasting more than a few hours at a time. Still strong after lunch time? Forget it! However, this lipstick is better and more comfortable to wear than any lipstick I have tried. It lasts well into the afternoon before showing any signs of fading, and goes on evenly without smudging or smearing. Great matte texture to it as well, but be warned that the matte finish is not as flattering and can feel very dry on chapped lips. Overall very pleased! Worth the purchase!

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I'm obsessed with this lipstick. It smells good, feels good, looks good- everything about it is good. It's exactly as advertised too. :) You don't need lipliner with this lipstick. It wears evenly and goes on smoothly, almost like chapstick. It has a very light, nice scent, but it's not one of those scents that lingers and pops up to say hi everytime to move your lips. It's truly one of those lip colors that you forget you're wearing, but looks amazing. I bought another color within a couple of weeks because I love this lipstick so much!
