Great light for new pantry!

Nice lamp but fragile glass pieces
Overall, I like this light but wanted to make potential buyers aware of a couple of problems. First, the white glass pieces are fragile and I had a broken piece in my original order and replacement as well! Second, as others had mentioned, the bulbs are a pain to insert once the glass pieces are in place because you cannot hold the bulbs properly anymore (whereas they snap in in a second without the glass pieces on). Since you need to apply pressure to the bulbs to turn them and make them go into the socket it may be an impossible task once the light is mounted to a ceiling or wall. Finally, while I liked the fact that the lamp can be installed right on to the junction box (gives a clean snug fit) it is missing the two screws needed to connect the supplied metal plate to the junction box. Barring these problems, the lamp looks nice, and seems to work well.

Good Value and Great Customer Service
The fixture looks really good, is well made, and is a great value. Only one problem. When I opened the package 2 of the 3 glass shades were broken. Not sure how it happened because everything seemed to be packaged well and there was no visible damage on the box. I normally hate dealing with customer service. In fact I hate it so much I went to the big box stores looking for replacements without any luck. So finally my wife called and talked to Roger at Canarm. He was very helpful and after I emailed him a copy of my receipt he got back quickly and told me new shades would be going out within a week. So in less that an hour the issue was resolved. At a time when customer service is rare at best, it's great to find a company that cares. Botton line: the product is a great value and they stand behind their product. I don't often buy light fixtures but when I do you can bet Canarm will be at the top of my list.

satisfactory light
This light was a replacement for a dark corner of my garage. I didn't install the shades for broader light output and it gives me the light I need for my purposes. With the shades removed it's also lots easier to change bulbs when the need arises. I like that I can swivel and aim individual lights to suit my needs. I didn't have an outlet box in the ceiling where mounted but it was simple to wire in a heavy duty ac cord and run it over to another ceiling outlet. For the money it 's a nice light. I've got several "fancier" halogen fixtures similar to this throughout the house and this light wouldn't be out of it's class to replace them.

Good for task lighting
I bought this to light a small kitchen, but the lights were very directional, so I had to find another solution. I moved it to another room where I needed light in specific areas and I am perfectly happy with it there.

This fixture is so much prettier in person than it looks online. It's made out of shiny brushed metal, & the little bulb covers are made of swirled glass or ceramic. The fixtures swivel all the way around & not just one way or the other. The bulbs plug in instead of screwing in. I recommend purchasing the bulbs that Amazon suggests buying with the fixture, because they have the correct prongs. We did not initially do this & bought what we thought were the exact same bulbs at the store, & they were double the price for only 3 bulbs instead of 10 & they didn't have the right prongs to plug in. We ended up ordering the ones from Amazon right away.

Very nice replacement to my outdated light fixture.
This is a good buy. I will probably buy another. I ordered the LED bulbs to go with it. I love how bright it is and how you can easily re-position the angle that the bulbs are pointing in. The light gives the same feel as a halogen bulb, but it doesn't give off heat like a halogen bulb. and since it is LED I am guessing it will last a really long time. I plan to buy another fixture for the kitchen. The fixture is easy to install.
