Love this stuff!! I have long, curly, thick, coarse and very dry hair. This stuff works wonders! My hair is finally soft and not dry. My daughter has very fine, curly, dry hair. It’s always tangled but this makes it so easy to brush. She washes her hair at night, then I put this on her hair and leave it. The next morning…minimal tangles and not dry!! We have been only using it for about a week so I may have to update later if anything changes.

If I Can, then you Cantu!

4C girl here! And I have to say... nothing, I repeat, NOTHING has ever made my hair feel this soft. I was skeptical at first because of all the negative things I've heard the natural hair community say about Cantu products, but honeslty... they've never let me down. The deep conditioner may not be the very best, but it's functional. The leave-in and moisturiser though are UNMATCHED. It smells amazing, and is non-greasy, so it won't weigh your hair down at all. I don't think I'll be using anything else for a while.

Makes my daughter's curls pop ????

Before and after... My daughter's hair is naturally very curly but dry curls and moisturised curls look very different. I spritz/mist her hair with water and then rub a finger scoop into my palms before covering her hair with the conditioner. The conditioner is thick so goes a long way you really don'tneed to use a lot, isn't sticky and it smells like heaven. I want to add that there is no detangling struggle, I don't even use a comb. I finger detangle with ease, braid/plait and cover it before bed and then it is ready to style the next morning.

This has made my 2B/2C wavy hair curly

I have started to use a few of the Cantu product for Wavy and Curly hair. I use the shampoo and conditioner plus this product Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream. I have type Type 2B / 2C wavy coloured hair. The first few times I used these products I thought it was leaving my hair crispy, however I have started to use less of the product and my hair has gone from wavy to curly. I don’t think the smells is overpowering in fact the smell is quite bland, but it seems to be doing the job I want it to. My hair is less fizzy and flyaway, and my waves are definitely more defined, soft and bouncy. I would recommend this product. I have not given it 5 stars due to the smell plus I have only been using it a few days.

Makes hair dry

As others have said, this is not a good leave in conditioner and makes my curls very dry. I even took this on holiday and slathered it all over my hair in huge handfuls while I was sunbathing and in the pool, and my hair was still dry. It's a real shame as the other Cantu products are amazing (curl activator cream and curling cream). Unlike the other Cantu products, this is does not state that it does not contain parabens, sulphates, SLS, silicones etc.

Terrible

Used it for three weeks, then had to stop. It left my hair really dry and rough, it definitely didn't absorb, as when I washed my hair I could see all the residue coming out in the water. It also made my hair really tangled and stuck together, trying to comb it out was impossible, I was pulling out and breaking so much hair. Now my hair looks dull and feels dead and horrible. Definitely would not recommend
