Proud dog owner who wants the best for my furry friend

The Carhartt brand is known for its durability, and this dog coat lives up to that reputation. Made from firm duck canvas material, which is the same material used in Carhartt's rugged workwear for humans, this dog coat is built to withstand tough outdoor conditions. The fit of this dog coat is excellent. It comes in various sizes, and I was able to find the perfect size for my dog using the sizing chart provided by Carhartt.

Looks like a hard working lab

I’m not normally a put clothes on my dog type but my sweet boy is getting older & I wanted to protect his back & hips from the cold during our walks. The jacket isn’t long enough to reach his hips but it’s still very warm and comfy. I laugh when he wears it cause he looks like he’s about to go do some hard work. The collar is a nice touch that can also be popped up to further cover the neck. Pockets can be opened to carry things in.

Adjustable as they grow

Super durable. When I feel underneath the jacket my dog is always very warm. Easy to clean. I got a L for my lab when was about 9 months , he is a year old and about 100 pounds now and it still fits fine

Great Fit + Great Look, poor quality materials

I really love this jacket, but I felt I needed to include the fact that my dog has only worn it 5 times and the stitching on the collar has already started to detach. Nothing I can’t fix with a needle and thread, but relevant to the overall product! My dog is a 40-45lbs catahoula / lab mix and I ordered the size Large for her. She’s very narrow but she’s deep chested. It fits but I use a binder clip on the part that wraps around her front because it had a bit of slack (see attached picture).

Keeps our boy warm and dry.

We get several compliments every time our xl bully wears it. Seems to keep him dry with a light rain and drizzle. Heavy enough and feels/is very durable for cold, wet winters.

Easy to put on and take off

Dislike Velcro strap at first I wasworried dog would chew through it but it I was clearly wrong after the first couple wears he was comfortable with the coat love how easy it is to put on and take off.

Ein sehr gutes Produkt

Eigentlich fand ich Kleidung für Hunde immer ziemlich unnötig. Ich habe letztendlich nach einer Jacke für meine Labradorhündin gesucht, weil sie Regen ziemlich doof findet und wir Abends gerne länger im Garten sind und sie immer dabeibleiben will aber irgendwann tatsächlich anfängt zu frieren. Wir haben Größe L bestellt und die Jacke passt perfekt! Die Qualität ist, wie für Carhartt typisch, sehr gut und ich finde die Jacke auch ziemlich schick. Praktisch sind auch die beiden Taschen, in denen der Hund zukünftig die Kotbeutel selbst transportieren kann. Wir sind sehr zufrieden :-)

Not as long as I hoped

I have a 6 month old belgian malinois and I thought getting the large would be sothing she would grow into and around her neck she will I had to add some Velcro to make it right and around her chest it’s ok but it’s short on her back in my opinion but I guess it’s maybe like a bomber tube jacket we would have and it had dog hair on it when it arrived so maybe some one washed it as it shrunk still works and I love carhartt and it dosnt look bad on her I still like it but it’s not going to be warm if she’s just sitting around but she got thin fur

Toller Mantel

Super schönes Teil, wirkt sehr robust mit 2 Taschen für Leckerlis und Kacktüten. Kaufe bestimmt noch den in grün. Meine kleine Ridgeback Hündin wiegt 30 Kilo und hat eine schulterhöhe von 60 cm. Größe l passt perfekt.

Awesome code, same thick Carhartt material as the human version

My dog is certainly the most stylish on the block now ha ha. I bought a size large for my female Weimaraner. She is about 70 lbs and has a very slim build and deep chest. A medium may have fit a little better as it is slightly loose on the front Velcro fastener but lengthwise it is perfect. This size may be better for a golden retriever, lab or husky I would say, although it wasn’t worth returning.

Carhartt Tough Dog Coat

The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 Carhartt coats for our farm puppies. They wrestle constantly and have torn quite a few other coats. These coats are very durable and seem to be tear resistant. Not heavy, so they not overly warm when they are running around but they do a great job of keeping the snow and burrs off. Very easy to get on and off. Pups are 55 and 63 pounds, slim waist, and both are wearing a large on the smallest adjustment. Great strength of Velcro. Would buy again for sure.
