Bought these for motorcycle riding

Motorcycle pants can be expensive beginning at $100 on average or higher, and normal Levi's and denim jeans are to thin. These jeans are thick, have good room for the flexing required when riding a motorcycle or maxi-scooter. They should hold up longer for riding, especially since If you don't carry anything in the back pockets. They come in sizes for real men. Most jeans and pants are sized for teenagers. I wear a 46 waist 32 length. These jeans were long but didn't drag. The opening at the bottom of the legs went over my motorcycle riding shoes without a problem. They feel good. They look good. They are NOT "Motorcycle Pants" however, which have Kevlar and Protective pads, but they should provide a little more wear resistance than a regular pair of denim. I have a pair of actual motorcycle pants coming, but I will also buy another pair of these, because my daily clothes have to be able to double for motorcycle riding too.

Classic jeans. Good quality

I bought these after a disappointing attempt to buy some Levis. These Carhartts are classic jeans... made out of real denim, and constructed well. They fit great. After several washings, the still look and fit the same. I'll stick with this brand in the future.

Ends up perfect.

Not your typical relaxed fit jeans. Wearing a size that I decided to donate a loose fit pair because they would not stay on my body. Got these and had to stretch them out around the house before I could even zip them up all the way. Once I did, it was so worth it. Not the first pair of these type of jeans. They really work in.

Sizing is by the Inch, and Construction Exceeds the Price

I'm writing this with about 15 minutes of body time, but as someone that has gone through his fair share of jeans, I'd consider myself an expert of first looks. One of the hardest parts of buying pants can be vanity sizing, and I'm happy to report that these jeans run true to size, as is, if you measure 36", buy 36". Length runs much the same. Construction is good, with rivets and double-stitching where expected. Denim is soft but respectability hearty (4 season denim), with a fraction of give. Fit on this model runs quite trim, right down to the boot opening. The B18 feels pretty close to an 8inch opening, which makes this pant great for just about any footwear, including cowboy or engineer boots. For those who have bigger thighs or rear, I would recommend opting for the 'relaxed' version of this jean, as there isn't too much grace there. Though the jeans are fantastic, I would have liked to have seen a little more material in the seat, and less space between the back pockets. All pockets are generously sized, which is much appreciated when moving around. Speaking of the seat, this is one area where I forsee issues in the future. While these jeans sit on the hip, anything higher with excessive movement will likely lead to failure. This may also happen if you'd just a bit of a rump, and can see how many of these pull apart at the pocket. Wash cold, hang dry, and you should get your money's worth. If you're trim and want these for style, have at it. If you're more muscular or want to flexibility to move and work about, I'd immediately go to the 'relaxed' tapered jean from Carhartt. Solid value option, which is exactly how work jeans should be. If you're a tad over the inch you measure out, I'd recommend going up a size as well.
