Just Fine
Some time ago, I bought a set of these, made of glass, four to the set, which was three more than I needed, strictly to make root-beer floats in, because I don't drink beer so much anymore. But they were heavy! They weighed a ton, and I'm getting old on top of it, so I really noticed every time I lifted one of these things up. It actually did bother me, and so I looked for, and found, a whole slew of plastic beer mugs on the web site. Well, I ordered one - which is all I need - and received it, and it's just what I wanted. Not too heavy, and serves my purpose well, for an occasional root-beer float.

Awesome! Just what I wanted.
I absolutely loveeeeee thia beer mug. I do not drink beer but several restaurants and bars I go go have these types of mugs when they bring me water. I wanted to find one for myself to have at home since I love the mugs so much. This is a great product for what I wanted for my water (that is all I put in there - water and ice). Lightweight as well. I hand wash it since I read the dishwasher isn't good for these. I will be buying more in the future. I recommend hand washing.

Carlisle 4396507 Lexington Plastic bar Mug, Polycarbonate, Clear was purchased to increase the number of mugs that I have because I only had one. The Carlisle mugs are sturdy and ergonomic in my hand. I enjoy drinking from them.

Nice mug
Just what I was looking for

Not dishwasher safe!
It was pretty expensive, but I bought it because it was polycarbonate, which is supposed to be dishwasher safe. It was used very sparingly, and washed in normal cycle in a Miele dishwasher, upper rack. After about 5 months, the whole bottom has cracked, with the sides splitting as well. Used mostly for cold drinks, it was never dropped or abused. Not dishwasher safe! Wasted my money.

Use as tabletop cutlery container
I use mine as a table-top cutlery container. Easy to see which utensil to grab. As for the incessant whiners - It's plastic, not stainless steel. Hold the mug and was it with care. Enjoy.
