Budget friendly ice cleat!

If you need a small set of cleats to bring ice fishing that come on and off easy, these are them. The rubber band styles dry-rot and break after a year or 2. Not quite the grib of full sole versions, but adequate for walking on slippery ice

excellent for icy sidewalks and parking lots!!!

Now these are the very best excellent ice cleats for icy side walks and parking lots. I can't recommend them enough! There are 2 things that you might consider changing about them when you get them. I found that the cleat itself should be turned around (i.e. it's upside down on the strap) because the buckle should not be on the inside next to the boot. Next you will notice that the whole thing goes on over the top of your foot and under your foot/boot. This will stay on but it will be much better if there is something that could also hold it on around the back of the boot. The model preceding this one had a strap around the back and so, I believe, it is possible to make one for this. If you do, it would need to have a loop at each end to allow the strap to pass through it. Even without the back loop, this cleat is the very best and here is why: once you have it all assembled and attach it to your boot, you will find that, happily, you can slide the cleat up the outer side of your boot very easily so that when you want to go into a store or someone's home, you will be comfortable with a flat surface and not marring hardwood floors. You do not have to take these off in such a situation! No putting them down someplace and forgetting where you put them! No putting them in pocket and they stick out and snag something! No, you just slide them up! I have never seen anything like this and it beats any yak-trax - no little cleats falling off flabby rubbery soles! No coiling springs to boing fumbling fingers! Because of the buckles you are snug but not squeezed. I could go on but I think I'll go buy another pair now instead!

Serious big cleats... way too big for my size 10 boots

The cleats are 1”x1/2” of heavy metal! The strap over my boot had over 1-1/2” of space on its tightest setting... these are serious and hevy cleats! Disappointing as i need a smaller elastic version and thought these were it...for the great outdoorsman only!

Don't waste your money

Buy a more expensive pair of ice cleats. I ordered a nice pair and they came and seem very nice. These don't even have the strap fastened the way it's supposed to be. You have to figure out how to put the strap through the thing and for some reason there is an extra plastic thing on the strap that has no apparent reason for being there. No instructions at all. Also, there are only 2 spikes on each one and they are too long, would be very difficult to walk on.

They do not always stay in their placement and may need upgraded with an additional strap around the heel would by my suggestion.

Not good.. beware go for the better ones

This product kept slipping off my feet. the straps don't hold and the iron grips are too large. A smaller grip design would be better and wouldn't be awkward walking on flat surface. Don't buy this product. Its a waste of money. beware!!
