Nice soft socks

These are a nice set of men's socks. As always, CK does a great job with great quality. These are good for the office, or look good with khakis, etc. The only negative I would say is that the socks that are supposed to be red, came out a really orange color that doesn't match anything, lol. But overall a nice set!

This review is for the Chaps Men's 5x1 True Rib Crew Socks 3 Pair Pack in Brown/Gray/Green. Before I ordered these socks, I was apparently slovenly and uncultured since I clearly didn't understand what I was ordering. Truth be told, I ordered these socks because I was going somewhere with below-freezing temperatures, and I realized that my sock drawer mainly consisted of athletic ankle socks. I've since brushed up on my sock knowledge; let me tell you, it's a rabbit hole. Did you know that 5x1 is a type of stitch? Did you know that "crew" only describes the length of a sock but not the type? So anyway, these are dress socks, meaning they're thinner than the athletic variety, which helps them fit into dress shoes, and they help prevent slacks from bunching up at the ankles. They're crew length, which means they're an inch or two shorter than the standard mid-calf length of more traditional dress socks, but the possible drawback is that if you have the calf muscles of a world-cup soccer player, they might not stay up. (In which case, you should look into over-the-calf socks). Overall, these Chaps socks are comfortable to wear, and they seem relatively durable. Functionally and stylistically, they're like a cross between dress and athletic socks. They have the look and thinness of a dress sock, but they're thicker than my bona fide dress socks for suit and tie engagements. The solid colors here are also a lot plainer than the patterns I've used to seeing on dress socks, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. They're not as warm as I would have liked, but that's on me. Notes 1) I didn't know that Chaps was related to Polo Ralph Lauren! 2) They're made from 98% polyester and 2% spandex.

These fit as expected. My husband doesn’t wear them as much since they’re mainly polyester.

Size is confusing

Listing Says size 6-12, product says 6-13 They come in a 3-pack and have a variety of colors to choose from. The listing says size 6-12, but the product says size 6-13. I was surprised when they arrived in a Polo brand bag instead of one from chaps. My husband wears a 13 and they are fine. The colors are true to the photos.

Soft and comfortable

These are great dress socks. Nice colors, nice material, and nice softness. Like how they have a band of elastic at the top so they don't slide down. Great socks.

Comfy Chaps socks

I ordered a 3 pk of Crew men’s solid crew socks for my husband. He has bought their socks before & loved them. He loves wearing them because they are so soft & they do not make his feet sweat. You do not have to worry about them sliding down. Which is a plus. I would highly recommend these Chaps socks. They will not disappoint.

Very nice

I got these socks for my nephew as a Christmas gift, and he was very pleased. He said they fit as they should and have nice stretch. As others have noted, they are a dress sock and, therefore, not thick like an athletic sock. There are three pairs of socks to a package in three different colors. The pricing is excellent for a well-known and respected brand. A perfect gift. Recommended.

Decent socks

I like the three colors that I purchased and the socks feel good on my feet. The socks feel well made, however, the one thing I noticed was the top rolled down just a little. I cannot speak on how long these socks will last, but I can update if I have more information.
