Just the right size

This was shipped packaged in nothing but a plastic envelope so the black piece was out of the handle because it wasn’t well protected. I was able to pop it back in and , so far, it has stayed in place. The sieve is sturdy and not flimsy. The mesh is fine enough to strain rice and to scoop fried foods out too.

well designed and built. not like most designs with cheap welds. this is designed correctly not like foreign designs, we had one like this when i was a kid in the 60's and that held up 40 years. this one looks to be the same thing.

Quality control!!!

First one came damaged! Mesh was smashed & coming off the metal frame & half of the plastic handle was not attached or had come off. They sent a replacement & i have to say it seems more heavy duty than the average strainer. Its heavyweight & the mesh is thicker & looks like it would hold up better. We’ll see how it holds up after using. But i like what i see.

Wonderful quality

Exceptional quality strainer. It is very firm and will last me a lifetime. They don't make it like this since back in the 50's. Thank you for the great strainer.
