This Thing is Amazing!!
The Chi Spin N Curl Rotating Curling Iron is absolutely amazing. Took a few tries to figure out the rotation settings, but after that, this is so easy to use. I can do my entire head in 15 minutes and I have a lot of hair! You can vary the tightness of the curl by how much hair you put into it at one time, though if you put too much in, you will error out with a tangle. Simple enough to fix with a quick reset by pressing down on the power button. If you are on the fence, buy this - you won't regret it!

Love it
Love it! I have shoulder length hair. I've never been able to use a wand correctly; and I lose patience and end up with a big crinkle when I use a clamp iron. I can actually make curls in my hair with the chi. The only con I have is sometimes u have to reset it by holding down the power button. It'd be much easier to just have a reset button u could press once.

Awesome Hair Tool!
This is one of my favorite hair tools I’ve ever used. I have a LOT of hair. My hair is very thick and falls all the way down to my butt, but I can finish curling all of it in around 20 minutes(even less if I’m in a time crunch). I hate curling wands because I’m scared I’ll burn myself and I’ve never been able to figure out how to curl using a straightener, so this tool was a complete game changer for me. It’s so easy to use! I’ve been recommending this to everyone I know that wants to curl their hair. The only con I can think of is that it is pretty bulky. I travel a lot so it does take up a decent amount of space, but other than that it’s amazing. Definitely worth the price!

Fantastic!! Easiest way to curl your hair
I purchased this prior to a wedding and didn't expect to have it be as useful and awesome as it was. In order to use it take the quick minute or two to read the instructions or watch a YouTube video on it. It'll make sense and you'll get the hang of it right away. The item is not heavy and I used it for three people's hair for a wedding. It's easy to grip and does all of the curling for you. The biggest thing you need to do is .. wait a few seconds for the beep that indicates the hair can be disengaged from the wand and it's ready! I've owned the old time hair curlers and I won't go back to those. They often kinked your hair which this doesn't. Each hair was curled almost to perfection and you just have to figure out how much to put into the machine each time based on your own hair length, thickness etc.

Love the look it gives
I have thin medium/long hair. I love how this makes my hair turn out...but I will only use it on special occasions. Because my hair is thin...it started to dry my hair out. It took a little practice in how to use it, but it wasn't bad. Like I said, I love how my hair looks after using it so I am keeping it.

Hard to use
I got one of these for myself and each of my daughters for Christmas. I haven't heard back from any of them about what they think of their gift, and after trying out my own, I think I know why. They don't like theirs any more than I like mine, and they feel bad about telling me that my gift sucks. That wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that they weren't cheap. I thought I was splurging this year because of the CHI name, but I am very disappointed. Trying to decide if I send mine back or not. I guess I should bring it up and let them know my own thoughts, and see if they feel the same. The issue: Getting my hair into the thing so that it can spin, is nearly impossible. The slit where you put your hair is not deep enough, so it tangles up 95% of the time, which sets it off beeping at you. You then have to untangle your hair, push a button to stop the beeping, make the section you just tried to do EVEN SMALLER--because I keep trying to do the very small size sections that it recommends, and start over. Then, you have to repeat this process 140 times to get your whole head curled. Too much effort! My normal curling iron is faster. Also, you cannot get it close enough to your head to get the curls from the top. Curls all end up starting about 5-6 inches from your scalp. The one upside? If you DO have the patience, and 1 1/2 hours to do your hair, it does look pretty good.
