Size and absorbency is awesome

I was gifted this product so I could give an honest review. The size of the towels and nice and big. They absorb really well. I love how it came with smaller face cloth size towels as well.

LOVE

Have been using the mitt religiously. My last mitt completely burnt through and barely helped keep the heat off my hand. I have been using this to bake with my kids and my hand does not burn at all while holding the tray. Soft, comfy, lightweight too which surprised me. The towels were very nice- appealing. Would 100% refer to friends and family.

good basics but on the smaller side

These are nice, stury basics and do the job well. They're a little on the small side, which is great if you have small hands like I do, but might be a drawback if your hands are larger than average. Otherwise, no complaints.

Pretty basic

There isn’t really a difference from just a regular pot holder. They are still nice and protect you from getting burned. Overall very nice and the quality is good.

Functional, a touch small

Why are oven mitts never made big enough for guys with big hands? And why are the "pot holder" style of oven whatchacallits - pads? also never big enough? Anyway, these things are functional, work as expected, they are just too small for my hand and too small for my taste. Since I *can't* use the mitt, I only use the pads. It's hard to line them up with whatever I'm picking up in the oven, and I often burn a bit of my palm or some other part of my hand that somehow got around the pad and touched the hot pan. But this particular set is about equal to every other set I've ever had.

Stripe better than Solid

4.4.22~ 'Chicago Metallic' has been good to me for bakeware. Decided to give these potholders a shot, as am in desperate need. Surprisingly, the solid & stripe are different fabric & thickness. The solid is thin. Easy to grip a rack while holding. It's smooth like the Oven mitt. Both are good for a quick grab, but heat comes through with extended hold. The stripe is woven & a bit thicker. Could hold a 13" baking pan from a 400* oven with total protection. The solid quickly shows a simple grease stain. The stripe does not but also the fabric seems to resist better. Like the set but if had to choose, would just get stripe as a set.
