Turns my anxious dog Zen!!

I posted this on Facebook: I bought Theo this wool cable knitted sweater that came yesterday. Theo is an anxious, busy little guy. I put the sweater on him to check the fit. His personality immediately changed. He went into a zen-like state. It isn’t a Thundershirt. We tried that because it worked so well for our last doodle. Just a regular wool sweater. It was so dramatic my husband asked if he was possibly reacting to a toxin they use in fabric making. I am very sensitive to chemical odors. I didn’t smell a thing. Little guy was super relaxed all day yesterday. If we took it off he became his usual anxious guard dog self. When I got up this morning I thought I must have dreamed it. I held it up to him to see how he’d react. He came right over and as I put it on him he stuck his neck into the turtleneck hole. The zen-doggie returned. Good Fit, Well Made - and Male Dogs Can Wear Them, Too!

FINALLY SWEATERS THAT FIT! I have 4 (male) Miniature Schnauzers that are very difficult to fit. They might not weigh as much or be as tall as the Standards or Giants, but the build is the same - sturdy, heavy-boned and muscular. There's nothing "toyish" or delicate about them. I bought mediums for the two larger ones that are between 23-25 pounds and smalls for the other two with a 7 pound weight difference between them. And they all fit! These sweaters seem to be well made - especially compared to what's offered in the big box pet stores; they're much heavier, too, and don't look silly. Best of all, they allow for "male equipment" which is something most others don't even take into account for when making dog sweaters.

Very warm knit sweater

This is a Beautiful and well made sweater for my Frenchie. It's warm and soft and perfect for cold wintery days. It runs large in sizing, but I prefer that to being too short. Proportionately, my dog has a very muscular neck and chest and the sweater is stretchy enough to accommodate her.

great sweater, great fit!

We have a french bulldog and this sweater fits him well, not too tight at the neck. This is the second sweater from this vendor and they wear and wash like a dream!

At first, my dog gave me the "you've got to be kidding" look. That was inside at 68 degrees. Outside, at ten degrees, oh yeah, she smiled! Very well made, thick and warm. No more shivering for my short haired 20 pound pup!

Love these sweaters

They're all-natural wool, warm, and adorable. The medium is just the right size for my 22 pound doggie. They are well made - just be careful to hand-wash in cold water only, being 100% wool. I shrank one up by accidentally putting it in a "warm" load in the washing machine. Really love the style and quality.

cute but too big

super cute but definitely oversized...great for a chunky dog, but for my weenie dog, just big enough for a sleeping bag...

Stretch

I have purchased 3 other Chilly Dog sweaters in the past. They were all warm, high quality sweaters except for this one. This sweater stretchs out of proportion after a couple of hours making it unwearable.
