Best ball so far
As a fairly new puppy mom of a giant golden doodle of 6 months old and 59 lbs, i never imagined that every ball is different and every ball has a purpose and some just don't have any purpose at all. I only bought this ball because there was a buy 2 get 1 free deal and i needed something in this price range for the free item. Imagine my surprise when of my 7 dog balls, this one is the absolute favorite by a mile and she only plays with it in the daytime so the glow is pointless. 1st the negative - the glow doesn't last long. In the sun all day and it barely lasts a an hour on the strongest brightest day when we bring it inside. Many times it lasts 15 minutes. Positive - the negative doesn't matter because this thing has a ridiculous bounce. Whether on grass (the only ball so far that bounces way high on grass), household floors, wood, carpet sidewalk, street, it can bounce crazy high or really far anf if it hits a rock and goes wonky, my pup goes wild. The joy it brings my dog is ridiculous. 2. Size/chewy/softness - my pup has doubled in size since i got this and when she was smaller she loved how she could squeeze to get it in her mouth and now she can leave it big and still loves it. It can be pressed almost flat with her adult teeth and yet it is in perfect condition aside from always being filthy with dirt. Her puppy teeth and her adult teeth have not damaged it at all. 3. Taking the ball away - this may seem dumb but i gotta say she knows DROP IT perfect but right around 5 months she started her 6 month teenager rebellion and with this ball i can sometimes go in for the steal. I would never do that with any other ball but this one has 2 holes, one on each side and if its in her mouth right, i can just stick my finger in one side and swipe it and she has no idea what happened and gets so excited by the mystery and by my ability to get it from her LOL. Best part-i dont have to put a hand in her mouth to grab it, which i prefer not to do unless an emergency. Although she has never had any problem with it, i just don't think its a good habit. Best if she knows when the whole hand goes in the mouth, there is a good reason and she needs to allow it. But sticking my finger in the ball hole i swear it makes her laugh if she could and makes her play more fun. 4. Longevity/sturdiness- i said it above but this thing survived razor puppy teeth during teething and now adult teeth squeezing, chomping, chewing, biting, catching, everything you can imagine. I would not be surprised if i ran it over with the car and it bounced a mile. Dog balls should be $2. Anything more is absurdly ridiculous. Yet....this is worth every penny and i hope to never be without it. HOWEVER.....I WOULD PREFER THEY DITCH THE GLOW AND MAKE IT CHEAPER, EXACTLY THE SAME BALL AND NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE GLOW BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT TRULY LASTS 15 MINUTES. I WOULD BE ENRAGED IF I BOUGHT A $7 BALL FOR THE GLOW AND GOT 15-55 MINUTES ON A GOOD DAY. LUCKILY ITS OTHERWISE THE BEST BALL EVER. BEST. BALL.. EVER. LOL

Much better than expected.
When purchasing this ball I expected it to be tough and solid, so when a squishy, hollow ball arrived, I was pretty disappointed. I did not expect it to last more than a couple seconds with my overenthusiastic aggressive chewer. My American pitbull has destroyed so-called "indestructible" toys, furniture and even car tires... I am happy to say that I was incredibly mistaken. That this ball has now lasted over a week of daily play and chewing, without so much as a scratch, is remarkable. What I first thought were negatives (squishy and hollow) turned out to be a phenomenal design. Because it is hollow the ball is lightweight and easy for me to throw. It also bounces around like a pinball, which my dog has a blast chasing down. The squish makes it really fun for my dog to chew on without worry that he will hurt his teeth or his jaw. I play fetch with him every night after work, and we have lost many a ball. The glow on this ball makes it incredibly easy for him to find, even in bushes and tall grass. The glow is BRIGHT and lasts a good 30+ minutes in pitch dark before needing a few seconds in the light to "recharge". The color of the ball is true to the the photo from the seller, but as you can see in my photos, it even has a slight glow when in lightning! If you have an aggressive chewer, or mainly play at night, I highly HIGHLY recommend it.

extremely bouncy, but in a good way
got this to use at night. it works well for this and the glow can be quite strong if given enough time near a bright light like a car headlight or flood light, and a cell phone flashlight can recharge the glow during longer walks. thumbs up here. but what gets the ball 5 starts is actually the strength of the ball vs the mouth of destruction. our lab/pit puppy has destroyed every toy he's ever had in less than a week. this ball is still alive after a month. it is also able to bounce on wet, longer grass / sand / small gravel that no other ball can. this allows this ball to be a great fetch toy no matter where you are... trail, field, park, etc. this ball finds a way to work everywhere. it also has a faint whistle when thrown that will let your dog know its time to chase the glowing whistle ball, and also what direction to look/run towards to capture it. its a tough, all terrain bounce capable, whistling, glow in the dark ball. talk about a perfect dog toy. best ball purchase I've made in years.

Our dogs favorite ball
Our dog (shepherd mix) absolutely loves this ball! He will pass by 5 other balls to choose this one if we tell him to go get a ball and it's rare to not see it in his mouth if he's outside (waiting for us to come play fetch if course ????). I initially got it for early morning walks because I could keep track of it and quickly got a few more for backup and keeping one in each car. I just got 5 more for backups in case we lose one or they get discontinued (I hope not!). They also fit in the chuck it stick which makes fetch a lot less slimy tossing the ball. We've only had one crack and it's likely from a year of chewing and sun but it still glows and works just a little less bouncy.

The best toy in the world!!
This ball is indestructible yall! My golden retriever has destroyed everything I've gotten her and this is the one and only I REPEAT 1 AND ONLY toy she hasn't torn apart to shreds. Any other ball is gone within a few hours- days. And to only make things better the thing glows in the dark! So she can still play fetch when it's pitch black out. She is obsessed with this thing. ( I am too)I think it also floats on water so we take it to the creek with us. ???? percent worth your money buy it. I've been giving one to all the people that get a puppy from us because I don't think you can find a better toy anywhere! If I haven't convinced you that this is worth it I don't know what will.

His favorite ball
This has to be the most durable ball ever made. Great to play fetch with rather than a tennis ball because it does not have the fuzz to pick up all the junk along with his slobber. Awesome especially in the winter months when it glows in the dark and you can play fetch even though it’s dark.

Fabulous invention, I’d highly recommend!
The media could not be loaded. Went for a walk with Buds new glow-in-the-dark ball. I’ve...Bud...has lost sooo many tennis balls in the dark and long grass in fields and church yards. He chases the ball, finds a scent of cow, fox or whatever, drops the ball and ‘hunts’ the scent then forgets where the ball is and he’s hopeless finding the ball again in the long grass. It’s been so frustrating as we’re spending a lot of the walk looking for the ball. I’ve tried those flashing balls but they stop flashing when still so no good either. I then came across this glowing ball and it’s brilliant, it also flits in my flinger! Best thing since sliced bread! Ha ha. It’s lighter and flies further so Bud gets exercised more, it bounces easier so when it hits a tree or ground it bounces so again goes further or changes direction which is fun! I’m enjoying our walks once again. Bud loves it too as he gets more ‘run’ time than ‘find’ time. I ‘charge’ the glow over a lightbulb when I’m getting ready in the morning to ‘charge’ it. The glow doesn’t last a long time but my walks are around 45 mins and a quick 10 seconds on the head torch every now and then just boosts the glow again. As you can see from my pictures, it’s actually very visible.

Dependable Chuck-it quality and less likely to go missing in the long winter nights.
I swear by Chuck-it balls. Our 11 month old Border Collie is the destroyer of toys, bringer of ball armageddon. At any one time there are half a dozen balls littering the floor of our house that people have bought her. Some last a few days, some last a few weeks. All will meet their doom. Except Chuck-it balls. Every one we have bought has survived (except their generic tennis ball that came free with a ball launcher) and is still going strong. We have several different ones, the very best being the Ultra ball but also the loud squeaker and this glow-in-the-dark version. It's a very different ball to the ultra, much softer and squidgier as it has a hole through the middle. It's also a different material, one that glows a eerie green in the dark. And that's the selling point of this ball over the others. It does glow in the dark. It's not super-bright, it's not got twinkly lights and you could still lose track of it, but it does glow a definite green that makes it easier to spot. We've got quite a long garden and I've not lost it yet, and just as importantly, Storm the God of destruction has not ruined it either.

Best invention for evening & winter outings with your dog.
This ball is such a good invention! To all the people with one and two star reviews, you didn’t even bother to read that you need to charge up the glow with a light source. These people complained it doesn’t glow. It won’t glow if you don’t bother to read the instructions. No more searching for the ball in the dimly lit park. If you want to play ball with your dog. Get this. The ball is also hollow and will whistle especially if you get a spin going on the ball. Pro Tip if you get a small screw Led and a bedside or table lamp you can boost the process of charging up the glow before you go out. The ball fits over my led light through the hole. Take your phone and use to torch to charge it up further if needed.

Chuck-it are the best dog balls
Chuck-it are the best dog balls, whether using the standard orange/blue strip ones in the day or the glow in the dark at night. The day balls have a small pinhole so they yield when your dog catches it in its mouth rather than smashing their teeth out. The slight flexibility also ensures they last a long time, however much the dog tries to chew them to death. The glow of the night balls lasts for ages and has a slightly bigger hole going through it, probably about the size of a new 5p. As well as glowing it makes a whistling sound when it's thrown. The glow can be topped up, I just point my torch into the hole of the ball for a few minutes and then it is as bright as before. Both day and night balls skim and float on water so no chance of losing them that way and you don't need a chuck-it thrower. I find a Medium sized ball fits the cheap £1 throwers you get from your local discount store.

So good for training and play. Dog is obsessed.
My dog LOVES this ball. He's a Labrador and he's had it since he was nine months. He's almost a year now. In the photo the dirty one is the same one he's had for about three months. It's so tough and durable that besides the dirt it doesn't have any marks on it. We use it every day. It's replaced treats for him on walks. When I walk him I can use the ball on its own to control him. We don't have to use a lead or treats to keep his attention or work on his recall. He's obsessed with it. I bought a second one because if we lose it I don't want to have to wait to replace it or find it's out of stock or discontinued. I originally got it so when we were walking him but it was darker we could all see it in the dark. I hit or kick or throw it for him and not only can we still find the ball in the dark but we can see him when he's carrying it. Now that it is lighter we still use daily because of how attached he is to it. I don't let him have it except when we are on walks so it's still special and he doesn't wreck it. Even while we're walking him he chews it but it's still held up so well considering every other toy we get him is destroyed in days or weeks. I couldn't recommend it more. I hope other users have as good an experience with it
