Built well
I use this every day, no issues at all, still looks like when I first got it. Good storage for tools and quality is good.

Nice bag
The bag is as pictured and works as I hoped it would. The only thing that is keeping me from giving all 5 stars is that one clip on the box for parts broke opening on first try. Otherwise it is nice. Will just replace box for one from hardware store.

Cabinet installer, everyone has a different tool set...
This bag works great to hold small hand tools used during cabinet installation ( chisels ,screwdrivers, mallets and small hammers, block plane, end cutters, etc]. It is not perfect, but it works well enough so far. That being said it is not easy to find an ideal bag for this kind of work, and this one does the job pretty well. Here is what I have found about it. It is small enough to fit in cabinets and keep out of the way, and hold the necessary tools. Because of its size I have cut my tool set down to what I use and eliminated clutter, though if this same bag was offered in a 1-3 inch longer length I would have opted for that because hammers and mallets would fit the tote better. The bag is open, allowing me to easily locate and access tools, not having to root around in a dark hole full of little pockets. This also helps to be able to easily take a quick inventory of my tools and prevent me from leaving any behind. I also really like the small parts bin that fits in the center, although its construction could be better. I suspect the plastic tabs will break of in time and it will need to be replaced long before the bag itself, but I knew that going in. It has removable partitions in one direction, and allows me to keep drill and driver bits closed organized, a real plus. The pocket that houses the bin has enough excess room to store a few long narrow tools like pry bars. A loop to secure tools on the ends of the pocket interior would be a nice addition. For that matter a narrow long deep pocket for tall skinny tools such as screw drivers and pry bars would nice. The tools are secured in the totem via loops on one side and pockets on the other. This is fairly standard. My only criticisms are that the pockets could be a little deeper to better support taller tools. Maybe have various widths for wide and narrow tools. Same for the loops. Also the loop band could be wider, or mounted lower to help prevent tools from slipping through . For the most part I quite satisfied with this bag. It was inexpensive (and offered at a lower price the day after I purchased it) and expected I would be replacing it at some point. The quality and construction are good, as has been with all CLC bags I've owned, and it works fairly well. Again for the type of work I do it is hard to find a perfect bag, but this is serving me well. Everyone's tool set varies, and this one works pretty well for mine. I did not proof read, don't judge.

Excellent Tool Bag for Home Use
Like most things on Amazon, the reviews and photos were lacking in giving an adequate idea of what this bag is like. So I hope to sort this out for you. Quality is better than I had hoped. This bag is completely polyester fabric with no leather, but it is high quality. The material is sort of like a Jansport backpack but reinforced with metal bars and plastic inserts, and thicker near corners. I was worried about the structure of the base, but it seems to be double layered on the bottom. This bag comes collapsed and on the inside outer pockets (the big channels on both sides of the center plastic case compartment) there is a flap that you fold down to reinforce the bottom. Once you fold it down it is taunt in place. Quality and stitching seem good. The only thing you might want to be aware of is this bag's weight capacity will fill up pretty quick given the nature of the materials and lacking a solid plastic base. What I mean by that is if you load it up with a lot of steel tools of course its going to reach a limit where it will bow over. I would say it would be good to hold the essentails for house use and MAYBE for commercial use in something like local IT, but im NO MEANS to be used at a contractor's job site. Professionals know to use thick leather bags and this cannot substitute that. Also the handle straps each have a foam type of padding inside them for comfort which helps with carrying the bag when not using the shoulder strap. See attached images. Hope this helps.

Outside pockets shrunk.
The old bag had wider pockets where the tools were tucked inside rather than hanging out to makevit uncomfortable to carry. Just an inconvenience, but when you carry it all day and the tools hit you in the side, you notice it. Also wish they hadn't taken the velcro off the handles. A minor annoyance, this is my 3rd CLC over the shoulder bag. Not too big, not too small

convenient
Bought for apt. maintenance, tray convenient for storing extras of the spall parts screws frequently used. sturdy enough holds impact driver and drill plus enough tools to deal with almost anything that comes across a typical day of apt home repairs (hvac, plumbing, electrical ,etc.) strap could be a little more rugged and should have a swivel connector also missing a bit holder for driver bits.

Good use of space
Nice tool bag with useful large storage box that acts as the spine down the middle of the bag. Only downside that I have noticed for me is that the width of the two side compartments are a little narrow so I have to often take a few tools out too get to the one I need (working as a plumber) but not a major problem at all and helps to keep me organized and not allow too much rubbish to build up in their.

Nice tool bag, quality seems good!
Pretty happy with this bag. Wanted something to carry my most used tools with me, as I travel around with my tools a lot. Center pocket is a good size for a socket kit with ratchet, two large side compartments for screw drivers/pliers ect. A little larger would be nice, but then it would just get heavier. Would buy again, lets see how long it lasts! If you move around with your tools, and want a catch all bag, go for this one!

Nice design but unfortunately falls apart
I like the easy access to the parts organiser in the centre of this bag, It's really handy for a service guy like me. That's about the only good thing I can say about it though. This bag is junk. The shoulder pad split and the padding was falling out after only two weeks. The metal carabiners that hold the strap on are SUPER lightweight and snap off without much weight in the bag. It has recently begun to split at the seams. Among the worst quality toolbags I've ever owned.

Garden tool storage
This is great for storing small garden items. Even the measuring tape holder is handy. The centre large pocket holds my square foot gardening template, ties, markers, plant id tags and everything else. It’s so frustrating looking for all the little odds and ends you need, especially with a larger yard and garden. It will stand the test of time and can be carried with handles or over the shoulder.
