Strange fit

I’m a fan of most Columbia items. I bought these shorts because of all the pockets. A while back I purchased a small, they were wearable but a little snug. I decided on a medium, they were too large. I wear a medium in most things, I’m a size 8/10.

Superb shorts!

So the shorts are amazing. The material is ideal for hot weather, beach activities, and simply being around the house. They do have a very relaxed fit. I bought Medium and I wish they were a bit smaller. I loved the shorts so much that I got them in blue, this time I bought size Small (assuming they would fit just right since they do run bigger than expected)… but no they were way to small. So it appears size small is just right and Medium runs big. So the product is great but the sizing is funny like that!

First impression: Great fit and material!

Just received the shorts and they fit great; I would say sizing is accurate. I typically wear a 4/6 in pants/shorts and I got a small. Material feels great and seems durable and water resistant which is what I was hoping for. I think these will be great shorts for hiking and traveling this summer!

Becoming fit for flat butts

Love the pockets, way it looks on. Had to cut off the front belt - serves no purpose only adds to waist, also would be great if had some stretch, but one of the best looking columbia shorts. I am 5 4,~122 lb,got S 3 in

Runs Big

This time I didn’t read reviews. I just ordered my regular size I normally usually get from Columbia. (I don’t like anything restrictive around my waist so I don’t mind the shorts leg width being larger by 4” to 6” around my thigh) It says “adjustable waist” - nope it’s not - I tried to make it waist smaller by 1-2” & the so called adjustable belt just stuck out! I’d have kept if waist adjusted. I’m returning it.
