Inaccurate color depiction
Other reviewers said to size up. I normally fit in shoes between 10-11 depending on the brand, so I ordered 10, 10.5, and 11 with the intention of returning whatever options didn't fit best. The 10.5 felt perfect with thick socks, however I didn't plan to wear thick socks on my hikes, so I kept the 10. They weren't the comfiest, but I hiked a lot and never got blisters or sore feet. I think my feet would've slid around too much in the 10.5. This is my first pair of hiking boots ever so I wasn't sure what to look for, but I am overall happy with these. I ordered this color thinking it looked black in the picture, but they are definitely not black. They're like a dusty gray-ish purple and the details are like a salmon color. A pretty color, but not what I was expecting/wanting.

These boots are made for walking
These are the best hiking boots I’ve ever owned! The support they offer for long hikes or work days where you need that extra protection is amazing. I don’t feel like my toes are being crammed together which makes my feet happy and they’re also stylish! And there’s plenty of room for thicker socks if needed. I have them in three colors now because that’s how wonderful they are (get them when they’re on sale if you can!). Hope this helps those looking for comfortable hiking gear :)

Light weight amazing for hiking!
First day of hiking was a breeze! Shoes are super durable, comfortable and fit to a t. I wear size 7 women's and these were the perfect size. I love the flexibility and ruggedness of these boots. We hiked in slightly rainy conditions and they kept my feet dry. They are cute too! I used thinner black laces that grip instead of the wider burgundy laces they came with. All in all an excellent purchase!

AWESOME hiking boots!
I love these hiking boots. They’re super comfy and light so you don’t feel like Bigfoot tromping around. I’m an 8.5 and I threw caution to the wind and ordered an 8.5 ( I like to live on the edge). They’re perfect. Can wear with regular socks but also plenty of room for thick socks but not so much that your foot slips around and gets blisters. When I first put them on I thought they were tight on the toes but a little walking around the ol’ apartment and they were awesome. Rocked these bad boys around a mountain town and up hiking with nothing but joyful feet. Feels like the perfect amount of ankle support. Warm but not sweaty (no thank you smelly swamp feet)! Plus you get to feel superior to people hiking in running shoes. HUGE bonus.

I broke my tibia, fibula, and fractured my ankle on Thanksgiving. They weren't sure I would walk again. Got surgery with a metal rod for the leg, but they didn't think pinning the ankle would be the best move. I worked hard in physical therapy and got up and about faster than they thought possible. My ankle has be a bit pesky though. I got good snow boots that laced up, but they aren't good for the warmer months ahead. I have columbia products and took a chance on these hiking boots as I need support for the ankle. They came today. True to size, fit better than I could have hoped for. The cleats on the top of the boot allow me to cinch it tight, which is what is needed for added ankle support. They are lightweight which is an added bonus. It matches the color of my columbia coat as well. I won't be wearing a thick sock, but believe I could if needed, there is enough room in the toe box. I did get my regular size. I debated between these and skechers, same price, and I have always had great luck with their products, but chanced these and am quite happy.

Comfortable and sturdy!
I bought the Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Plus boots in Elk, River Blue. As well as the Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped version boots in Elk, Mountain Red. Both in a size 7. The blue boots are made of smooth leather and the red boots are made up of full grain leather and suede. I loved the style of the blue boot but unfortunately it was too narrow in the foot. The red Amped boots were much more comfortable for me. I ended up returning the blue and keeping the red which held up very well during my hiking trip!

Great hiking boots that held their own on the trails of Sedona! Purchased these for a girls trip to the desert and they did not disappoint! Easy to clean, cute, and functional. There were some trails that required scrambling and these had excellent traction. Great ankle support as well. I highly recommend these!

My new favorite hiking shoes!
So in love with its style, color way, light weight and comfort! I’m usually size 9 on rubber shoes but I sized up and order size 10 so my toes will have sufficient room and so I can wear thick hiking socks. I own another hiking shoe on my exact size of 9, wrong move, because for me, we should always size up for hiking shoes. My size 9 hiking shoe resulted to 4 “hikers toe” Or bruised toenail which is bad. So I’m excited to use this on my next hiking trip! And hope my toes will be in best shape and no more bruised toe nail! Love this! Highly recommended! Hope it last forever! :)

Go up 1/2 size. Comfortable, Warm & Stylish.
I had to return the 1st pair as a bit too snug. I wear a standard size 9 Columbia Hiking shoe..so was surprised I had to go up to a 9.5 in the same brand. Other that sizing, they don't disappoint. They look great(I chose the grey/pink), They coordinate perfectly with my Columbia Fleece. Fabulous fit, warm but don't make your feet sweaty. Good traction and extremely comfortable. Laces and grommets are solid and the pink adds a bit of femininity.

SO comfortable!
These boots are fantastic! Super comfortable. I wore them hiking mount katadhin for 11 hours after only breaking them in by walking to and from work 25 min each way on city sidewalks for about a week before the mountain. I had zero discomfort, no rubbing or blisters. Great support for your feet and ankles. Some spots on the trail required you to walk through water or the trail was up a Waterfall, and my feet didn't get wet at all! They truly are waterproof as long as the water isn't super deep to go over the boot. My feet are a little wide and I wear between 7.5-8. I ordered the 8 wide and they were great and still roomy in the toe box while wearing a normal sport sock plus thick wool socks for the long hike. Another plus is I got them in pink and had several compliments on them! They do get dirty fast if you're actually wearing them for hiking, but that's expected with a lighter colored boot! I'll definitely be wearing these through winter in Canada this year too.

Comfort!!!
These boots are lightweight, so comfortable and waterproof. Kept my daughter hiking thru Nova Scotia for a week in complete comfort. Colour's pretty too!

I have never in my life out in a pair of shoes or boots and been immediately comfortable! Seriously worth the buy! I use these for winter fat biking - slim fit without squeezing my wide feet! Great traction and perfect height. Nice walk without feeling ‘boot-like’ and so warm and comfortable I forget I have them on! I thought I’d have to break them in before hiking season but I think I could’ve walked in them immediately for kms long without issue. What a fantastic fit. Thanks!

Wonderful Boot but a size too small- they are small fitting
Absolutely lovely boot, I have to re-order in a full size up as the 6 (my normal size) was pinching my toes so returned and ordered in a 7. The extra full size is perfect and I have a very narrow foot. The sizing is quite small so be aware. Otherwise, fab boot.
