Awesome heavy duty clippers
Great industrial style clippers - easy to use

So powerful!
Used these to trim back some pine trees and cut up my Christmas tree. It cut the wet soft wood like butter and even cut up my old Christmas tree that sat out for a couple months with ease.

Look nice. Cuts ok.
It cuts most of the the branch ok but leaves a connected tear or peel of bark on one side of cut. Not a a clean through cut. Was shipped with no packing or padding, just a heavy sharp steel tool in a cardboard box. Box was torn & had a sizeable hole in it.

Nice loppers
a friend of mine broke my pair of my loppers I was unable to find a replace the blade for my original set so I replaced them with those I would recommend these loppers

Acceptable
In general they work well and are worth the money paid. They do tend to bind/slip when you get close to the 2" mark and some smaller live branches can make your life difficult. Would still buy them again as again for the cost they are generally functional.

Not true bypass, but good nonetheless
Up front, these are NOT true bypass loppers (as stated in product title, and having receved them, there is no 'bypass' statement on the packaging). They are not exactly anvil either (I have a nice Corona anvil set, non-extendable, with Titanium blade), since the blade sits in just beside the blunt side, maybe with an ever-so-slight overlap. I have some concern about how they will perform once the blade is sharpened and a little material removed. Perhaps they will just close a little more, or I can shave the bumper to make them do so. I had purchased them for the extension and dual-action feature, over the somewhat-cheaper Corona extendable loppers (without dual-action) that look to be true bypass. That said, I will keep them for the dual-action and what looks to be heavy-duty construction, but may also need to purchase the true bypass extendable loppers for tree pruning along a trunk. Or, I will try to repair my true-bypass no-name extendable loppers from Costco (which were fine until a couple of the too-many small bolts in their design failed in shear.) In general, I have had a very good experience with Corona tools, and don't see any reason that these will disappoint aside from the lack of a true bypass.

Sharp, Great Blade, But Heavy
These are excellent loppers. They have a great cutting edge. The metal is oiled and of good quality, holds a sharp edge for a long time. There are no problems exerting force to cut thick branches, the loppers are heavy duty. When you extend the loppers it is much more difficult to exert much force and, consequently, much more difficult to cut thick branches which are located beyond the "un-extended" reach of these loppers. The loppers are also very heavy and tiring when you are cutting high branches over your head. For this reason, I purchased these loppers and a 10 foot pole pruner. If I could do it again, I would just buy a cheaper priced set of loppers which do not extend and the 10 foot pole pruner. The "extendable" lopper is really of little value since it is difficult to exert much force when it is being held overhead with the loppers in the "extended" position. Just get the cheaper priced "non-extendable" loppers and use the money you save to apply to the cost of a 10 foot pole pruner. This combination is unbeatable and a better use of your money.

When they call this "heavy duty" the emphasis is on "heavy"
These are very nice sturdy loppers that cut like a hot knife through lemon cheesecake but be warned that they are actually pretty freakin heavy. If you are a circus strongman or Navy SEAL you won't mind holding these over your head all day long but the rest of us mortals are going to have problems. I can't give them a low rating because the weight is right there in the product description, but these aren't going to be a good fit for everyone.
