Little on hard side to assemble, you’ll need patience and little extra time. Once assembled, it looks very nice and it’s sturdy.

Use it for playing guitar on!
I wanted a comfy piano bench like chair for practicing classical guitar. I tried a couple portable (folding) piano benches and they were uncomfortable and too high. This Cortesi X-bench is spec'd at 17.5 inches but mine is almost 18 inches from floor to the highest part of the cushion. However, when I sit on it, the cushion compresses over an inch making it the ideal height for guitar picking with both feet flat on the floor and my upper leg level/parallel to the floor (too highchairs makes the guitar slide downwards!). With all that said, it's a handsome bench of solid hardwood (mahogany?) and finished in a semi-gloss walnut stain. But, if you look closely, wood workmanship is so-so: glue sticking out of seams, finish blems and, the main reason I docked a star, uneven legs resulting in a slight rocking. The corduroy fabric is excellent, and sewing is clean, neat and defect free. Finally, assembly was easy and only took about 20 minutes, requiring screwing in 8 hex screws to hold the legs and crossbars in place. The supplied Allen wrench was too short. A longer handle wrench (I had one) makes snugging up the screws easier and avoids banging knuckles. All in all a nice bench: good looking, comfy and just the right height for playing guitar. Update 11/9/2020: Still looks nice but the padding has completely lost its firmness after several months of use (daily guitar playing) and I feels like I'm sitting on the wood under the cushion. The decorative buttons, while they look nice, dig into my backside, so not a good design feature. I laid a thin piece of memory foam on the cushion and I'm okay but what a disappointment. Not a bench for serious sitting.

Exactly what I wanted, but arrived with chip in corner
I love this set of ottomans. The color and size is exactly what I was looking for. They were very well packaged. Unfortunately one of the tops arrived with a chip out of the corner, see photo. This had to have happened at the factory, and they just packaged it up and hoped no one would notice I guess. Pretty hard to miss. So I'll be requesting a replacement top and hoping it's not too much of a hassle. I don't know how the foam is going to hold up but since I plan on putting them next to each other and using a tray on top they'll be fine for a while. I noticed also that when it's put together there is a little area where the leg attaches to the bottom of the cushioned part that sticks out a little more than the cushion. I'll just dab some brown shoe polish or something on it and hope it's not too noticeable. It is actually a pretty good bargain for the price I paid.

didn't come with the silver nail heads as specified
Below is how it was described, note there was NO nailheads at all. I was dissapointed, I'm planning on using it in my entry to sit on while removing shoes. It does seem a bit weak, even though I tightened the screws as hard as I could. Also came chipped on the feet and the pacckage of screws made dents in the crossbar it was taped to from jostling around in the shipping. I'm going to keep it, add my own nailheads and hope it holds up. The color and dimensions are true. I like the looks. Great Seat
Just what I was looking for. Great price, look however there was a small damaged leg, and one bolt hole would not line up. One of the assembly fasteners was damaged and I had to go buy one from the store. Over all, not too bad...

Well worth the price.
Bought an open box so I knew there might be an issue. The bench was perfect except the attach holes were not drilled correctly. An easy fix and well worth the lower cost. Always check out those “other” options .

Its perfect in a small space in front of the sofa
I use this as a coffee table and a foot rest. Its perfect in a small space in front of the sofa. I bought a small black tray that I keep stored on the legs across the bottom. I pull out the tray from this convenient location if I am having coffee or a drink. This give the cushion stability so it doesn't fall off. When I'm relaxing, I can throw my feet up on it which is my reason for buying it. My old coffee tables were nice wood pieces that I thew pillows on to put my feet up on so this time I decided to just buy for my feet instead of my drinks.

Sophisticated front hall bench
Beautiful decor for front hallway to allow one to sit to take off and put on shoes and boots. Very well made.

Nice, but had issues with installation
Bench looks great and as expected. One of the holes for the legs didn’t align correctly and had to install it a little tilted to make it work. Concerned about the stability as a result. Didn’t get any emails from the vendor so not sure where to provide feedback or how to contact them.

Easy to put together
Easy to put together, stylish and perfect for my home office. The packaging was damaged but this was not the fault of the seller just the good ol Canadian courier. Highly recommended.
