attractive, minimalist style; function as desired

I'm used to Oakleys, but these aren't a bad replacement. I have been nursing my 16 year-old Oakleys because I can't find a decent pair of sunglasses that fit my small head, have a style I like, and are durable enough for daily use in outdoor running and beach or ocean sports. I just got these Costas, so I can't say if they will last as long as my Oakleys. The ballast style are extremely light and minimalist. I have already forgotten I was wearing them. The blue frames are not as blue as the pictures suggest; they look black. I almost sent them back because I thought I was sent the wrong product. You can only tell they are blue in really bright light. The dark grey lenses don't seem to block out as much sunlight as Oakleys, but the contrast in the Costas is amazing. Colors are brighter than in real life. I can see how this would be good for fishing. I was concerned about buying a medium fit style because, as noted before, I have a small head and very few styles actually fit me. However, these fit me okay. I can't say they'd stay on if I were upside down or practicing back handsprings, but for the average activity they will be secure. They don't seem much larger than the Trevally style which is supposed to be a small fit.

Great sunglasses plus good price equals Value

These are excellent sunglasses with polarized lenses which protect my eyes from UV as well as glare. I bought the copper colored lenses for cloudy, but bright, days. I can wear these while playing golf because they are so lightweight it's like they're not even there! And the wrap-around design provides some protection from wind. I also have a pair of gray lenses for sunny days.

Best glasses ever

I have 2 pairs for Costa Del Mar Ballast sunglasses. One for the car and one for the house. Running, Golf, Hiking I wear them everywhere and have for a few years. Absolutely no problems! I love them, superlight, stay on tight, look cool. I store them in their case - or in my car when not in use - well protected and I will have them for years as long as I continue to protect them, just like any good sunglasses. Well worth the money.

Perfect fit

Comfortable and light weight. No pressure on your nose or over your ears. I have 2 pairs. Brown lens for work and on the farm. The green lens for fishing. I definitely recommend this style

Best sunglasses around for all day wear!

AMZ is asking me to review these as if they are shoes...so not sure what is up with that. BUT am very picky on sunglasses and I have a very hard time wearing any for a long period of time. This is my third pair of these in about 6 years. The first ones I dropped and something fell on them and broke them. The pair right before this I picked up my grandson and had them around my neck on a cord and they snapped with this 30lbs. I mention this because I don't anyone to think they don't last, they do, but like anything you have to be careful. These are really awesome, lightweight, fit perfect and can be worn all day. Right now the price is about $40 less than what I paid for them 2 1/2 years ago. If you need lightweight wear all day protection, like for boating or BBQ, these are the glasses for you!

great lens, very very light weight.....little on small side
