Awesome leather dopp bag!

This shave kit is awesome. Made of very soft supple leather, and has nice bronze-ish zippers and accents. I also ordered the same "tan" color David King & Co Large Duffel bag to use as a set. Just a side note: The tan between the two products is slightly different. Could be natural differences in the leather I guess. They are very close, but they don't 100% match if that matters to you. The bag itself is larger than you would expect. It can fit all of my shaving and toiletry accessories no problem. I usually carry a toothbrush, travel sized toothpaste, shaving soap, shaving brush, razor, face wash, and some other misc soaps / wipes / etc. It has a nice vinyl interior which makes for easy cleanup. The U-shaped opening on top is nice, as you can pack things easier compared to the top zipper designs. There are a few other versions of this David King bag, some shorter/wider, some with different zipper configurations, etc. I found this one to be the best combination of size / opening / color / price. The only two criticisms I have about this bag are 1) The Handle. Nice addition, but doesn't need to be there. It's rare that you need to cary a bag like this by a handle, you just carry it from your luggage to the bathroom. The handle is on the top, so when you carry it, all the contents that you packed in while it was horizontal, now slide around and shift because you're carrying it vertical. Totally a preference thing, but I probably won't use the handle much. 2) Front zipper. Again, nice to have, but fairly narrow. The pocket itself is wide, but the lining is not very deep, so you can't put many things in it unless they're flat. I'll probably use it for things that should stay dry / separate like medication or floss or something. Overall, very nice bag. Would definitely buy again. The leather and craftsmanship make It feel like it's going to stand the test of time.

Exceptional Leather Toiletry Bag!

I am very impressed with the quality and size of this toiletry bag. The leather is a perfect thickness, no unusual marks on the leather. The zippers work well, plenty of space and then some, for all of my toiletries. I like the U-shaped zipper opening on top, you can see and find everything without having to dig through your bag to locate something. The front zipper pocket is deep and allows you more storage room. The bag will fold, or smash down if needed to fit in your luggage. Nice polyester lining. I don't recommend large bottles of products, I use travel size to allow for more room. I know it will last, and I'll get many years of use, and enjoy this bag! I highly recommend this bag to anyone, if the size fits your needs, remember it holds more than you expect. A very high quality, well made, expensive looking, toiletry bag!

Male toiletry bag works great for females!

I love love my new toiletry bag. I am a female but I love using male items sometimes because they are less girly. The only issue is that I can barely fit all of my toiletries but that isn't the bag's fault, I pack way too many toiletries. I did notice that it stains easily. I am not sure what the initial stains were on it but I managed to remove them. However, I have seen a few other stains but I think it was water because it has since dried out and disappeared. I love my bag so much I am trying not to get it wet near the sink.

Great design, real leather bag with nice features

Great bag. I really like the style. It's made with real leather. I wish they made a medium size bag too. The other wish would be a mesh liner on the inside of the bags "cover". This bag takes up a lot of space when just traveling overnight. This bag is very nicely designed with nice features such as the side pocket zipper and the handle. Very well constructed. Would have given it a 5 if it was a little smaller in size. Great value and quality for the price.

Nice materials but larger than you think

This was a very nicely made shaving kit and I did quite like the leather that was used. It was rather supple and while the black wasn't incredibly dark it looked like it would wear well. It is large and open so you could fit all manner of things in it but ultimately I returned it due to it being a bit too big for what I wanted it for.

NICE!

This was a birthday present to my brother.It was a lot nicer than what I expected.He is going on vacation in July and needed a decent toiletry bag.The David King was/is perfect! Large enough to hold a straight razor,a can of Shaving cream,a bottles of cologne,extra razor blades, a bar of soap, a medium size bottle of shampoo,a tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush in case and a couple of wash cloth's.Made of genuine Leather and the zipper is very sturdy. My brother said it was perfect, I say it's perfect..What more can you ask for? Go ahead and get it..you want be disappointed!

Very nice case, I would recommend David King & Co. products.

Very nice case, just as described and pictured. The leather is thick, the craftsmanship is very good and the zippers (much nicer than what's pictured) are high quality and function smoothly. But note: If you are looking for perfect high-end leather, this bag is probably not for you. The leather is very nice, but likely second quality leather that would be rejected for automotive seats and quality women's handbags. Personally, I don't mind the imperfections, it just proves that cows scar like humans do. I would recommend, and hope this feedback is useful.
