Shiny and well-insulated!

We love light blocking curtains and these have the extra layer of insulation [not a thick layer of foam, but more of a flocking]. They are a bit stiff though and have somewhat of a hotel-room texture and sheen. We bought the champagne-colored ones, so I guess the light-catching material alludes to the bubbly! [Kidding, but the texture and shimmer is difficult to capture in the photo.] Look at the close-up photo of the grommet to get a better idea of what the whole curtain looks like rather than just the full picture. As another reviewer noted, these do let light escape through the grommets and out the top, though on our smaller window they are full enough to overlap at the seams and meet the walls so there are no gaps there. I like the other reviewer's idea of getting a valance, I just don't want to put more holes into our rental home than I have to! We use these primarily for the bedroom and the TV room to block out light and regulate the room temperature, but we haven't really compared their 'noise reducing' features.

What's not to like?

I very much like these drapes. I made a great choice! All the walls in my house are neutral colors and these are a perfect blend. And tbh, I am not good at color co-ordination. Balance and organization, yes. I used them in my living room, because I didn't want to use the 83" length with the baseboard heater just below the window. I'd have nightmares about house fires. As for the quality: excellent. No loose threads, no snags, nothing negative to write about. I truly recommend these. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because I find it odd to say I 'love' curtains. I 'love' cats.

NOT Blackout!

I hemmed and hawed over these curtains for months because they were the cutest ones I had found for my boy’s room, but they had basically no reviews. So here are my two cents for those in a similar situation: I love them, except for one HUGE problem - they are NOT blackout curtains, which is how they are advertised (it’s in the name!). These let in a good amount of light, as seen in the accompanying photo (there are CLOSED blinds behind the curtain in the photo). Otherwise, these curtains have a lot of positives: great pattern and color, just as pictured; good quality, with significant thickness, no pulls or unwound threads. If I was looking for room darkening curtains, these would be great and I wouldn’t hesitate. Unfortunately, they are supposed to be blackout curtains and I cannot recommend them as advertised. I’m a busy mom and I honestly can’t be bothered to return them. It’s a real disappointment and waste of money.

These drapes are just as described!

Very pleased with the quality of the material. Bought for my bedroom. Hung them right out of the package. No wrinkles. They are satiny on the back side, very pretty, hang nicely. I noticed that when I reached behind to straighten, that the heat from the sun was blocked from the room. So should insulate from the cold as well! Provides complete privacy as well! Mine are a beige color and for me, provide just enough darkening. This window has direct morning sun. I love them! I'm ordering two more sets for my living room in a different color. Received them today, came right on time.

Significantly darkens room!

Significantly darkens the room they were purchased for! Very happy with the room-darkening/blackening quality of thse curtains. Love the green color (not too bright but not a dark green either). Minus one star for the silver stars that are stamped on - a couple had wrinkles/creases and some had a streak through them. It's not a big enough deal to return and find another product, but was a bit disappointed.

Great color

I was looking for "grass" color and this worked. Very refreshing color, like it. Also pretty efficient in blocking sun. Not completely blackout but works fine. If you need to sleep during the day get a better one.

Not Exactly Blackout

I got these in white to replace another set I had which literally kept my bedroom black (upstairs and in Arizona to give some idea of how bright it is.) I love these curtains, they fit perfectly and look great but I wouldn't call them blackout curtains... I would say they're more like room darkening curtains.

100% Blackout & High Quality Curtains

These curtains are very very nice, with a good weight to them - not flimsy at all. They are completely blackout, and have a nice sheen to the fabric. Unfortunately, the ones that I ordered did not come with the with tie backs. I ordered the Dark Green curtains, but was shipped Dark Grey ones instead - so I cannot speak to the colour accuracy of the image online vs the in-person curtain colour. All in all, I do recommend these curtains!

Very nice curtain, purple is NOT dark

Nice fabric, easy to stream out wrinkles for a smooth hang. I bought to use as a backdrop and cover up a gallery wall when I need to record video in my studio. Biggest issue is THE COLOUR! Expected a deep purple but it's more like an orchid pink. It works for my space but is absolutely not the colour pictured.

No more waking up with the 3am sun.

I'm living in 24hour daylight right now, and these curtains help me sleep through the night. They really do a good job of blacking out my room, and they look great. I was also impressed with the quality of the material. I bought the grey ones and the colour was as expected. I would recommend these!

Great 'grass green' shade

Functions as expected, with thick - soft material. Great green colour, the colour tends towards a more neutral green in person. I purchased 2 of the largest panel size - both are the same size, colour, fabric (perfect match). The price is really great! They do serve as blackout curtains well as long as they have sufficient fabric to bunch/pleat (don't stretch them out too much to look flat).
