Good looking trim kit
I'm a plumbing contractor and use Delta products almost exclusively, I do like this trim kit that matches the lavy faucet I installed, my only real complaint is the shower head they should shrink it down and take away some of the ports, it is not enough water to disperse through that many ports to get a decent volume of water. The spray does feel good but even with the flow restrictor removed it is inadequate. I had a Delta smaller round head on their originally that I may end up having to put back although it kind of defeats the purpose of buying this trim kit.

I installed the set myself and absolutely love it!
I completely redid my shower and wanted a chrome set with a square showerhead. The cost for similar sets at shops in the area (specialty and big box) was a lot more, so I decided to give this one a shot. I did buy a Delta diverter from a plumbing shop beforehand, so I installed that and had everything ready to go when this arrived. Everything here was simple to install - with Chrome I always wrap pliers/tools with cloth or electrical tape so it doesn't scratch anything. It's been almost a year since my order and I have had no issues with performance. I love the large showerhead most of all. The only pain is cleaning it, but that's expected with chrome. In case anyone is curious, I have 1/2" pipe running to my shower and that provides more than enough water for the unit. My only complaint (if that's even what you call it) is that it is difficult to find square escutcheon plates, and I have not been able to find a square hinged/cut one. I forgot to install the one provided before I put on the showerhead, so instead I put one of the openable circular ones on after the fact.

Beautiful shower head and handle set
The Dryden Monitor is a lovely shower head and handle set. The finish is shinier than a brushed nickel but shy of being a polished stainless. However I would say that it has a glossy finish. Hard to explain. Because of the finish it is a bit more on the formal side and I don't feel it would be appropriate for a casual bathroom. The only negative with this type of finish is that it shows water staining, so we are wiping it off after each shower, which is easy. Just wanted to mention this in case anyone was considering it for a child's bathroom - you might be better off with brushed nickel or oil rubbed bronze. The pressure works fine, just make sure your plumber installs the part that goes into the wall that directs the hot and cold water in the right direction (I can't recall the name of the part) - ours installed it such that when you turned the handle into the red area, cold water came out...and when it was turned to the blue area, hot water came out. So he's going to reverse it. He said the part is not marked to make this easy so it may be trial and error when installed. Again, just wanted to mention it.

The "used" package was very spartan - didn't even come with directions
I am remodeling a home with 16 showers utilizing the Delta Multichoice valves - so any way to save money is supposedly a good thing. However, getting a "used" unit wasn't so good this time. It just came in bagged and with no instructions (I usually install the Thermostatic 17T models - but this is just a standard 17 which is installed differently). So no I have to do some research and see where to get a manual for this.

Great system- Control heat and pressure independently- and not plastic but Polymer!
I was looking for a system to control both pressure and Temperature separately This system does a great job, I had to remove the entire Moein system from the back wall and it took my plumber less than 3 hours for the entire job. Easy to Install, good look, easy to function Before I order I called Delta and was easy to find someone to talk, great Customer service PS- The temperature control Knob is made of Polymer (not plastic! it is a good quality plastic) and in my knowledge as a chemist, some polumers last longer than metal as they never rust

Not sure how I feel about it yet...
The shower handle, backplate and tub spout are metal. However, the shower head is plastic. I suppose that's easier or cheaper for Delta to replace in the event of an issue. At any rate, I have the polished nickel finish to match other things in the bathroom. Said finish does show spots. Overall the function of the handle and showerhead is as expected / good. Haven't used the tub spout yet.

Delta Quality
Very pleased with the quality of this product. Certainly not cheaply made in any way. I was worried about the pressure from the shower head due to the rain head design and the fact that we have a well and not the high pressure of city water, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pressure is fantastic and feels amazing. I'll be buying another for our master shower.

This has been installed for 4 years now. Still works well and looks good. The reason for the 4 stars is that the handle will not stay secured to the stem. No amount of Loctite or torque will keep it on. There is simply too much slop between the set screw and the handle. If this hasn't been improved since my purchase, expect to wrench the handle once a month.
