Fit for a king...

So just got this... Was actually shopping around for a dress shirt and somehow I talked myself into not minding that Amazon's shopping ad algorithm brought me here. Yes its huge... And yes it isn't stable (can be fixed.) BUT DAMN! I feel like I need a toilet seat to match now! LMAO! I guess being single makes it easier to accept this as a household adornment, so married folks or those with significant others be warned (think "A Christmas Story" leg lamp)! This is a total "Homer Simpson" on a whim, surfing online purchase! Also, I got around the "unstable, single hanging screw" issue by actually drilling a hole on the Knight toilet paper holder and the wall with a screw fastener on the bottom and securing it. So, if your drunk friend gets carried away by thinking he's sitting on the coveted "Iron Throne" seat they wont knock it down when they summon the "Army of the Dead." Used a black sharpie to color in the silver screw. Anyway, I hope this helps.

item isnt metal as it appears to be

The details on this is unbelivable the paint work the attention to actual design i am impressed with this it by far surpassed my expectation of what it would be like i gave it 4 stars and not 5 because its not metal its made of the same material that makes up your average coffee mug so its not a drop frendly item but i baught it beacuse of its originality because i hate conventional holders there so lame it also mounts via a single nail hanger which isnt the very best mounting option for a nun drop friendly item that is under constant use but i guess on the other hand it makes for a more movable than fixated structure

I like this item very much, the picture was a little deceiving as when I received the item it was larger than I expected, however this was not a negative for me. Also this does not mount like a standard tissue holder IE: mount/screws. This item hangs like a picture (it has a hole in the back of the head in the shape of a nesting doll), again for me not a downfall. Also the on pictured is much more sliver than the one I received, the one I received was dark, ebony/bronze looking with a white roller (which I promptly replace with a bronze one for less than $2). Again not a downfall but I figured i'd provide as much information as possible.

looks cool, poorly designed

I was excited about buying this for our basement bathroom, but it has fallen short of expectations. The biggest drawback is that it hangs like a picture, so it moves around if you don't use one hand just to stabilize it when using. Naturally, guests don't know this, and as a consequence, it has fallen twice now, and both arms have broken off. The second downfall is the size. It is so big, it is downright creepy looking next to a toilet. One reviewer states that this product is made out of metal-not true at all- it is made out of resin and easily broken. I do like the antique look of it and all the detail and coloring. I now plan on using it as a hand towel holder instead, just as soon as the glue dries from the latest repair. With all it's drawbacks, plus it's hefty price, it is not worth the novelty factor.

i love it. make sure you use an over sized ...

its bigger than pictured. i love it . make sure you use an over sized screw head to secure the top.also use double sided gorilla tape for the rest of the knight and it will be firmly secured to the wall.

she was crying for joy she loved it so much - the "groom" took ...

I bought this for a newlywed couple whose last name is "Knight" - the bride wanted this so much. I purchased it, they opened it, she was crying for joy she loved it so much - the "groom" took it into the bathroom to hold it up where it would go, and accidentally dropped it (as it is big) and like in slow motion - it broke into several pieces. Now the "bride" was in tears for a different reason, and the groom had a shocked look on his face, I was stunned - horrified! This $62.00 toilet paper holder broke like it was nothing! I'm pretty sure Amazon would not let me return it. They are working on gluing it back together. It is made of Resin - and not very strong resin. The drop wasn't that far from the floor - the height of a toilet paper holder.

Material & paint could be much better for the price

Too big for toilet roll.. got only one hole at the back to hang it... not very stable... stick that hold the roll is also not strong enough & roll keep falling when you pull it. Material & paint could be much better for the price... regret
