Love Love Love this little guy. He makes a perfect addition to out retro coffee bar and he’s a great conversation piece. I added the butterflies and gold espresso. All we have left is to name him! Much gratitude! ????✌????

Sloppy and mismatched finish

UPDATE: Finally got the little rascal painted. I usedPassion Tropical - Aerosol Can from here on Amazon ($17.99 + $5.99 shipping). I used a olive drab camo base paint primer (HDepot). The Kustom Canz Passion Tropical paint is expensive but I'm pleased with the way he turned out. Now he is a 5-star plaque and worth $50; however, he is not worth the $74.88 total I ultimately paid for him (I did not add $$ for the primer, my time, etc.). I kept the 3-star rating because that is what he was when he arrived. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased this guy to be a garden hose holder. I intended to hang the hands upside down so a short expanding hose could be looped over them. I thought he would add a bit of humor and serve a purpose. First of all, my alien has dirty hands. Maybe he was weeding or planting something. His left hand is really dirty looking, Not sort of weathered like the Design Toscano photo in the description. These hands don't even match each other and this guy definitely has a "good" side. You can't tell from the Design Toscano photo because of the angle, but the mouth is crooked and my guy has a bit of paint drooling from the corner. My new alien time traveler friend looks like he's a stroke victim. The black paint of his eyes (one of which arrived with a gouge mark) is a bit sloppy giving him a slightly teary-eyed appearance... I feel like I'm picking on a victim so I will leave it there. I don't mind the freckles, but they aren't nearly as cute on aliens as they are on humans and dogs. Freckles — again, not shown on the photo in the description. One of the reviews said the hands were easy to hang at different angles, that is not true of the alien plaque I received. My pieces are intended to hang one way only (please, see photo). My plaques don't look like they would be secure if they were hung differently from how they were designed. The hose will hang around his thumbs, not the look I was going for but it will work. I wanted more of a "giving" instead of a "grabbing" vibe. Bottom line. Not a good value for the price. The plaque I received shouldn't be more than $24.99 including shipping. I expected better design and quality of workmanship from Design Toscano, not a deceptive photograph. In addition, for $50.90 (June 2016) the buyer should never need to fix sloppy factory defects and factory gouge marks. So, its off to Home Depot to buy some painter's tape and gray–green alien-appropriate spray paint to go under the several coats of Rust-Oleum 214944 Reflective* I had planned for him. If I cannot find a color I like I will probably return this thing. *Rust-Oleum 214944 Reflective — reflective like street signs — great stuff but it takes several coats, and needs to be touched up every year or so. Super cool when a flashlight beam hits submerged-alligator concrete yard art. …dragons, gargoyles, any large shape in a slightly too dark spot along a path. Note to Design Toscano. Next time please sell me one of your samples, the one in your Design Toscano description photo would be fine. "Individually hand painted" does not cut it here, this is just plain sloppy work. (Please look closely, that paint job is a solid 1 star mess.) The pieces should look like they belong to the same body. How about sending the three individual pieces of each plaque set down the paint line together? I am giving you 3 stars only because I am counting on the resin being much, much better quality than the paint job. ALSO… If the "stroke victim" look is intentional and your designer at Design Toscano thinks strokes are amusing, they aren't. Anyone who has ever known a stroke patient knows it's no laughing matter for them or their loved ones.

Price is to high!

I purchased this one and another I found on Amazon. The cost of this one was twice as much as the other one, but was not 50% better. This one is a little heavier then the other and it has a very slight edge on details of face and hands. I like the skin color of both but, "Hands down" I'ld buy two of the other' for the price of this 1. The shipping box of the green face alien was adorable with nice artwork on the outside. This one was packaged well but not as likable as the other.

Nice Roswell Alien Wall Art!

This Design Toscano Roswell Alien is REALLY nice & a bit larger than I expected! Purchased for my 35yr old son as a gift for his new man cave. He loves it & I'm jealous so I will be ordering one for myself. This pairs up PERFECT with the same companies ET Alien Skull. I will be getting another of these as well. Thanks Design Toscano!

Extremely cool and lifelike!

Ordered this for my "Nerd Nook" TV and gaming area. I came up with the idea of getting the poster like Agent Mulder had in his office and making it look as if the alien was coming through the poster, like a portal. I love the way it turned out! The product is solid and well built. That said, don't drop the pieces, they're not exactly fragile, but they can and will break if you're not careful. The detail is impressive! Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and will definitely be buying other things from Toscano!

It's a great piece and the quality is great but the price in my opinion is too high for it. I also feel like the head piece is too small for the size of hands it has.
