My 2nd one

Had the buy a new drill as I forgot to take off the back of truck when I was through fixing something. And that's the last time I saw it. Had that for 4 yrs and was still going strong. So I had no qualms buying a new dewalt xr drill. I have had a good run with dewalts xr tools so it was a no brainer to make this drill mine

I updated my Dewalt with this model. The light is adjustable, it is super bright on high. The chuck is much better than my older model

Little weird getting used to the clutch it first

Having three speeds on your drill is absolutely amazing. The clutch works completely differently than any other drill I’ve ever had but I love it because instead of it ratcheting down, it goes to the setpoint and then just stops and the thing is very very strong so start out on low setting and if you need more torque go higher as it will break screws and bolts awesome tool

It feels like it will last

I am replacing a non-brussless Dewalt drill that I’ve had for many years. This one is a little heavier but feels well built. It wasn’t clear in the AD but it came with an easily removable handle which was nice. I am using it for my ice auger until the spring. The chuck is metal which is different than my old drill that was maybe plastic coated.

So happy this came in the original Dewalt box as it should. And its made in USA. After reading some comments about people getting their product in a plastic bag, thought it was a made in China product. Description on the site shows country of origin as China fir the tool only. Anyways very happy its USA made in original box with the handle.
