Card Set Only - Buy Unifix Pieces Separately
These are fun picture short vowel word cards to be used with unifix pieces. I thought the pieces came WITH the cards. They do not, and need to be bought separately. Like to have different fun ways to learn to read by phonics. These are one such way.

Great Learning Tool
I bought these as well as the letter unifix cubes, and they are great! They are kind of laminated....so strong, but I went ahead and had them relaminated just in case. The pictures are all easy to understand for 5 year olds, and I love that there are coordinated colored dots in the middle of the squares so the children can learn the concept of CVC words.

Very engaging product
I ordered this for my nephews who are in kindergarden. I liked that it is a manipulative which helps to reinforce the concepts they are learning. It is especially helpful because it keeps them engaged unlike pencil and paper tasks. They immediately were interested in completing the task. Great product!

My kindergarten students like it, but I don't understand why there is a bow, cow, and car as they do not follow a short-vowel pattern. Otherwise, very useful and inexpensive.

Perfect for the unifix letters I already had. I just wish the cards were a little thicker. I can see that after 2 weeks of my kindergarteners using them that I'm gonna need to laminate them to make them last.

I am a kindergarten teacher and I am using these cards to do small group word work with my students. The cards are a little smaller than I expected them to be, but they are quite sturdy, and I expect them to hold up well. Best of all, the empty blocks are sized perfectly for my Reading Rods!

Another great find
Bought these with The unifix letter cubes. Students love to make words. I like that the card is color coded to give kids a hint without putting the actual letter. I've been using it in small group, but plan on putting it into a center as kids get more independent. (Will probably laminate them first)
