DOWNHILL QUALITY
I ran them through the wash and dry cycle once to remove manufacturing process excess (material, lint, etc.,) as usual for pre-use. However, this last order appears to have had a decline in quality. As is evidenced by the photo, hems and seams are already becoming unraveled and I HAVEN'T even used them yet. I've purchased these a few times over the past years and not had any problems. They are highly absorbent and very durable. It is only because of this that I am returning for a "Product Replacement". I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet on this company/product. (...and yes, the was pun intended). This is the review of the "Replacements": As seen in the 2nd picture, again the hems/seams are jacked up after 1 wash/dry cycle (cold/low). The quality has taken a serious nose dive in the last year and a half. As far as I'm concerned, the price-to-quality ratio is completely out of balance. I will not be purchasing DII products in the future. I will keep this set only because I need something and they're already here. UGLY, UGLY QUALITY! I DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS THEY'RE SELLING THIS FOR LESS THAN $10.

Perfect for my Needs
I recently bought some thick washcloths for shower use on Amazon, but was displeased with them because they were so thick, I could not wring them out. And they were not very absorbent. So I came back and bought these "bar mop" washcloths for bathroom use. I like them because they are the perfect thickness to get the job done, but are not so thick they won't wring out or dry out. I also like that these have a loop construction which aids for skin exfoliation. So while these are sold as "bar mops," I think they are perfect for skin use, such as face washing or showering. I haven't figured out why anyone would describe these as "monogrammable," as the description states because the loop construction would not be good for that. But for everyday washcloths, they work great! And they are a great value!

Not the same
I’ve ordered these at least twice before, it was just time to replace them and cycle the old ones to the rag bin. Something about them is different, although they look the same. They are not as absorbant, almost water repellent. They still wash well in hot water with bleach, which is why I use them. I’m not sure if the change is by design, but I’m not as happy with this batch. They feel strange, almost coated, like a full polyester...definitely not like 95% cotton. Fine for scrubbing, unusable for wiping surfaces, unless you like pushing water around. Size, quantity, delivery all fine... but won’t order again.

Shipment March 2015 different from same item ordered fall 2014
Recent delivery is NOT the 100% cotton stated in the description. Yet Amazon took me to this page and said "You purchased this item on March 9, 2015" when I came back to check. The dishcloths delivered this week are NOT what is described. Instead, the package I got this week totally lacked the DII label, are made in China and are 95% cotton and 5% poly. They also look dingy, even after I washed them and dried them in bright sunshine. They do not appear so absorbent as the same item I previously ordered and liked. These most recent cloths do NOT match the earlier set I ordered and received last fall. Those older dishcloths were excellent, had the DII label, were 100% cotton [as described in the current description], and were made in Pakistan. I ordered the most recent set by going to my old orders and clicking on the "Buy again" button, but did not get the identical items. Sort of a bait-n-switch, I guess. Since I cannot be confident of getting the 100% cotton as listed in the description, I will not buy again.

Product has changed....
Have been buying these for our small restaurant for three years now. I actually purchase them directly from my Amazon Orders page using the buy it again option, so I know I am ordering the same product. This last order, however is actually not the same product. The rags received are much thinner, with a looser cheaper weave and are a lot rougher. They are probably fine for the restaurant, although I don't expect them to last as long based on visual quality. I always had several at home for my own kitchen and would rotate them into the restaurant when we got a new order. I wouldn't use these at home now. Bummed, it stinks having to find a new product....also as an afterthought, this is not a product you would monogram, as the title indicates....the quality is not there for that.

Decent utility towels but not ideal for monogramming/embroidery
I was looking for towels to use for machine embroidery and picked these to try specifically because they said 'monogrammable' and appeared to have a weave that would work well for embroidery. While they're adequate for that purpose, they're not ideal because they're very rough to the touch and just look and feel cheap -- not really nice enough that they seem worth embroidering. They'll work fine for general utility towels but not what I had in mind. (Fwiw, I did find some ideal towels for machine embroidery by Better Homes and Gardens at a local big box store -- much larger, softer, and more gift-worthy, while still at an identical price to these.)

Poor quality
I love bar mops, but tired of white. These towels came loose, and dirty. Washed them once and this is what has happened. Also if you hold them up to the light you can see through them like a 10yearbold towel, not a new one.

These cloths are very goid
I was surprised that they were larger than a standard dishcloth and that they were a terry cloth. However, they are very easy to use and seem to clean well between uses! So I have to give them a four-star rating. I had previously purchased some smaller cloths that were perfect, but I cannot reorder as they are not available any more. These are a great replacement!

Very absorbent. Clean well. Only other issue(which is mine, not product) is my facecloths look very close so got mixed up in wash. Next time I will get the ones with a color stripe or other markers.

These don't look like much but they're very adequate for the job and the light texture means that they dry quickly. Being made of cotton, they will be easy to sanitize with bleach.
