Tears up my GULP shrimp

The bumps on the top are designed to keep the bait in place, but in fact when you push the soft Gulp bait onto it, it makes a hole so big that any fish that grabs the tail just rips it back. So I have switched to the screw type jigs.

Junk hook

Hooked about a 20 inch snook using this 1/8th oz. jighead. As it neared the beach the hook snapped in half. I liked the way the shank firmly held Gulp grubs, and that's why I bought a lot of them. But will not trust DOA hooks again. The rest of them go in the trash. Live and learn.
