They've helped my husband's foot pain

As many reviews here show, these work well for some people for some conditions. Finding the right OTC insert for your own personal issues is a process, even with guidance by a DPM. There is no single definition of "High Arch" for example. The location of the apex, length of arch and maximum height are all important. So, grading these as to whether they fit a specific person's arch is not particularly useful. For my own recurring peroneal tendinopathy, with modestly high arches, but also Baxter's neuropathy in the same foot these worked well, especially with an added modification of a slight lateral wedge. I have also seen experts state that having arch supports too high can exacerbate peroneal stress. One problem is that there is very little stiffness/support compared to other OTC (Powerstep, Superfeet Green, etc.) and they also have no significant padding. Those who use these for rigorous hiking or running may need those (as I certainly do, particularly with nerve damage already). However, the recessed first metatarsal head is helpful and there are not many OTC products with that design. Good luck finding the right insert for your particular feet.

Sizing

It said that a b would fit a women's size 7 and 1/2 to 8. They're enormous. I had to cut so much off of them, that now they don't fit in the right place on my foot at all. Also, the outer side of the insole rubs on the outside of my foot because it comes up a little high. So now I suppose I'm stuck with them

Sturdy orthotics for my daughter

My daughter needed orthotics and these came recommended by her orthopedic doctor. Easy to cut and fit but tough to squeeze in shoe if narrow.

Sizing info for women

I just got these inserts so I will update my review for comfort / effectiveness once I have had more time with them. I gave everything 4 stars which I thin is fair, until proven otherwise. These appear to be sturdy and well made. I wanted to provide sizing information for women since I read a lot of these reviews before buying. I wear a size 9 US women's and (39 EU) and I can confirm that you want to order size A (the smallest size) Despite the description saying otherwise. I am comfortable saying that Size A would accommodate up to a size 10 for women. If your foot is size 6 or smaller I would be very concerned if these would work. There is an indentation where the ball of your foot is intended to rest, but I don't think a foot smaller than 7 would reach it to provide support in the right places on the foot. I used the insert from my shoe as a template to trace and cut the toe as it would have been too long. The back/heel cannot be trimmed as it appears to involve hard plastic and the supports are designed very specifically. I got these inserts to address an issue with my peroneal tendon, I am hoping it helps.

Nice! The "C" size is great for a guy with 9 to 9.5 E or EE (US sizes) foot.

The "C" size is appropos for US size 9-9.5 wide foot. I tried the "D" size previously, but it's too large, in spite of the sizing guidance I was able to find from the maker (which led me to think D would be right). In sum - "C" is a much better choice than "D" size for me, and I'm a happy walker...

Way Too Big

Pictures show my size 6 ft resting in the heel bed, and my first metatarsal doesn't even reach the metatarsal recess. The orthotic is over an inch too long. No way I could fit this in my shoe, even if I trimmed it, the footbed itself was too long. I thought maybe I was sent the wrong size, but the inserts clearly have "A" on them, which is supposedly women's size 4.5-6. Never wore them so I can't speak to their comfort or performance. Couldn't return them because it was only a 30 day return timeframe and it took me that long to get back to my doctor to get his opinion on them. Now I'm stuck with oversized $60 orthotics that I can't use.
