Easy to use walk through gate

We really like the walk through gates, because putting up and taking down gates becomes excessive day in and out. This is a walk through gate with pressure holds. We have another gate that is mounted, which we prefer, but this is a good second if you don't want to mount. It's fairly easy to set up and install, however making sure it's completely level and even between walls is a bit more complicated. It will still work when not aligned, but it won't close as effectively. This is an auto close gate, however because the door swings both ways, you have to use just enough force for it to close. Too little force it won't close, or to much force will make the door swing the other way. The first gate we received was damaged, but we got a replacement within 2 days. Overall, this gate works really well and is superior to plastic pressure mount gates that need to be taken down every time it's used. It can take the weight of babies and toddlers standing and pulling it, and can take the weight of our big 90lbs dog pressing against it. However, my toddler has figured out how to spin the pressure mounts, which loosens the gate (hence how easy it is to install). Great gate if you don't want to mount anything with screws. It is sturdy, and mostly easy to install and assemble. Not as sturdy or reliable as a hardware mounted gate, but still great compared to a pressure mounted plastic removable gate.

Stays open well!

Just what we needed. Installed in the hallway to keep our dog away from things he might eat. You have to lift a little to get the door open, but the door swings both ways and stays open when you want it to (which is the best feature!). We didn't screw the plates into the wall because we're in a rental and it still holds up very nicely.

It works and looks great until it doesn’t…

The media could not be loaded. I bought these gates early it was on my registry. From the date I installed it until it broke was just over a year. So too late to return. The word thing is it broke and there is like a puncture hole where something popped off. I didn’t pay much attention to it but then it happened to the second gate! Now I’m like when did this happen could someone of been hurt? Was it a projectile? I think it had something to do with the pressure mounting. So I bought three gates in total and was hoping to gift to my little sister but I guess not. I purchased 2 of the 36-45 inch and then the really long one that is like 70 inches or something. The longest gate my toddler kept just juggling it a bit then it would pop open so you want to skip that purchase as well because a smart 1 year old can break out. I wish I could get a refund spent almost 300 bucks for gates that barely worked. They cute though the aesthetic was perfect but don’t expect them to last. Hinge looks like it imploded???!!! Is there a recall anywhere!?

Great baby gate but not for stairs

I love this gate and use it in front of a bedroom. It has a bar at the bottom you must step over, so I don't recommend it for stairs but other than that it's a great baby gate.

Would buy again!

Very easy to install and very sturdy. Purchased it to keep my 90 pound black lab from running through the house. Have had it up for about 3 months now and it still looks and operates like it did when I first Installed it. Highly recommend, would buy again!

Cumple precisamente con lo que necesitaba

Teníamos la necesidad de colocar una barrera para nuestra mascota, pero que al mismo tiempo permitiera el paso de manera fácil para adultos mayores ... Sin duda ésta fue nuestra mejor solución, funcional y estética. Mi única recomendación es que se tomen el tiempo de leer el instructivo (o ver el video) para la colocación y uso.
